steet smarts-what is it, how can u gain more of it

what the heck is street smarts? how can one gain more street smarts anyways. is it by goin out more? can one be book smart and lack street smarts.

anyone here ever met someone who lacked street smarts and how so. what did they do that was way out. examples. why are some ppl so street smart and other aren't.
any examples of ppl who lack street smarts and how did they learn, or how are some examples of ppl who are street smart.

what does the term innocent mean.

street smarts is a relative term... it can shapeshift...
some girls think any tuff guy/fighter is street smart...
some girls think any guy who sells drugs is street smart...
some girls think any guy who listens to rap is street smart...
it's a dumb term...

but to most it's prolly defining a persons swagger... if they have a little bit of a hard edge to them... if they believe that person could survive outside of their comfortable world...

being called innocent is not a good thing most the time... that's something you should be calling other women...

it a nutshell, it has nothing to do with the street (unless you were actually in the street).

all "street smarts" is... is common sense.

they call it street smarts probably because if you were in the streets, your "book smarts" means nothing... you have to survive with your common sense.

common sense as in not walking down the hood as a white guy... saying "What up nigga?" (since it seems a lot of people say that when there aren't any black people around)

A dictionary defines street smarts as having shrewd awareness of how to survive or succeed in any situation.

A good example is the movie "training day". Another good exmaple is the book "The 48 laws of power".
