"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Hi, I am new here and great forum hope everyone is doing good. I will try and keep this short.

About a year ago I was leaving Walmart and noticed a sexy young lady about 30ish who was on break who worked there and while I passed by I asked her how she was doing. She responded Ok and I kept on walking toward my truck.

Now time had passed maybe a month or longer and this same young lady shows back up while I was leaving the parking lot there at Walmart. As I was turning left I looked to my right and there she was just standing and staring away at me like she just saw Richard Gere or someone famous. I didn't mind this a bit because this young lady is hot 10 but instead of waving or doing anything I just stared back a moment and drove off for I just figured she was either coming off break or coming into work.

Now more times passes and keep in mind I am only a customer here and shes a employee which I find out she works in the Customer Service area of Walmart as a rep. This day I was cashing out just minding my own business and just happened to look her way and she was like radar and slowly looked up from what she was doing and just locked her eyes onto mine. The moment lasted for about 10 seconds as I looked down first and it being a good distance I couldn't really tell if there was a smile or not but it appeared she had a look of dreamy I guess on her face. Now being a guy not hung on himself and being totally taken by surprise I thought maybe she is checking some guy out behind me and when I looked no one was there and I thought dam what have I done to this young lady to get her attention like this and the stares?

Now another time maybe another week or so after this I wanted to look a bit closer and see if this was just a figure of my ego or something with this young lady checking me out. After I got through cashing out I look up and over her way and to beat all she was already locked onto me staring at me and making it obvious but being surprised I looked down quickly so as not to let her see me ha but she already did and I walked out.

Ok, now another week or so I go back in doing my food shopping as I do this weekly I am cashing out a good ways down from where she is working and I subtly look her way and she spots my butt but doesn't lock eyes on me as she appears busy.

Now I know eye contact is a sure sign of attraction and I should have gotten my butt over to her and talked to her but here's the catch. I have a minor disability that effects one eye and I appear winking as I have to close the one eye in order to focus and prevent double vision. I have thought about wearing an eye patch but I just have this self-consious issue about it and feel this young lady might thing I have been winking at her maybe not. Or she see's my disability and isn't bothered by it and is maybe turned on by it as I walk very confidently and take good care of myself. I am 6-4 210 and wear my hair silver but don't really look my age of 45.

Now the last time I went in there she sort of appeared to hide and didn't make eye contact and I wonder have I blown it with this young lady as she might think am not alpha or does she just think I'm not interested and thinks I am taken or married? Also
do women look pass disabilities like mine to see the whole person and with everything said whats up with this young lady and the staring at me in the parking lot that time is she really got the hot's for me or is it lost now that I didn't approach her or does she still have it and just laying low?

Any ideas on how to approach her from this point or not too would be appreciated don't sugar coat it give it to me straight.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

She thinks you're a shoplifter. :p

I don't see any reason that you can't just go up and talk to her - if she's been looking at you that much, there's a chance she's interested. If she is, you'll know by initiating a conversation - if she's not, you'll find out by doing the same. Either way, you've got nothing to lose... at worst, she says "no" and you're back to square 1 with no worries anymore. At best, she'll be giving you the 'price advantage' between the sheets.

Oh, welcome to the forum.

Thanks diablo for your reply and the welcome. I guess the biggest reason I haven't approach her is my eye disability and the self talk I give myself. I see myself approaching her and then she realizes I haven't been winking but I have a bad eye and she's then turned off. I know this sound's wierd but this is whats playing in my head and it bums me out. I just think to dam much being my eye condition is new and wonder if she knows I have a bad eye but is attracted to other things about me.

Now being this has gone on this long I wonder if she still feels the spark with me or or if there was one but like you say I just need to find out. I guess nothing gained nothing lost but easier said than done.

I don't blame you - I've got things about me that I think about constantly too... I'm pretty sure that everyone has something that bothers them incessantly. However (and it's easier to say it than do it) there isn't anything that can be done about it. Whether you talk to her or not, it's still going to be there when the day is over. If you don't approach just because you think she might not like it, then you're cutting yourself short. What if she doesn't care? The only thing that you'll be accomplishing is strengthening your feelings of nervousness... break out of the cycle now while you can, lest you go from not talking to one girl after another based solely on your fear that they might reject you due to your disability.

Man I like your reply you hit it on the nail with me and I appreciate that diablo for your started me to think out of the box. I'm impressed by your wisdom and knowledge. I'm feeling better already for if I keep this negative thinking up with every woman I come across and not approach them or this young lady I have my sights on I will be alone and that's the last thing I want unless she trips my butt and starts the ball rolling which that could be wishful thinking on my part not impossible but not likely.

Your a good man I'm patting you on the back.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I have a disability too and something like that is only an issue if you make it an issue inside your head. Most women aren't going to care if your eye twitches if you come accross the right way. Go talk to her.

Thanks So Many Ways. I guess my worst enemy is myself and trying to get use to this relatively new disability but hearing from you guys here really helps put things in prospective and what really is important.

I truly appreciate you taking the time to post it's given me the confidence boost I need.

Ok just a follow up and a question. I finally went in there and she was working this was the first time I had seen her I believe in maybe 3 weeks and during that time I'm not sure if she saw I was in there but when I looked over her way she's wasn't in view or it seemed she was hiding. What I wanted to do is see if there is anymore eye contact and if there was I would approach her and get it over with.

I went directly in front of where she works today where I cash out and looked over her way and not once did she look up or make any attempt to make eye contact with me even though she was waiting on customers. I am not sure if she looked my way while my back was toward her while I was getting my items out of my cart but don't know.

Anyway, should I still make an afford to approach her because my lack of approach earlier with her when she was giving me strong eye contact she just might think I'm not interested or she thinks wuss or should I just move on?

Any insight will be helpful and thanks.

my suggestion is that you moved the 3 second you saw her if you like her. maintaining eye contact is a good practice but not taking action is bad.

Now don't approach her in the same place you made eye contact. You can wait till she gets out of there and make your move.

you can always start by a funny intro. its best suited.

Good luck

Thanks wind20mph. Could you explain this in more detail please? With her working as a Customer Service Rep in that area of Walmart its hard to not to approach her there because I don't know when she will break etc. I have only a limited time to shop and look around the store and then leave or I'll look suspious in a way. I am still definitely interested in this lady I just let my eye condition get in the way of it and I hate it. Give me some ideas I like the humor part and I'm sure once the ice is broke I will be find.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
