"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Last night I went out with a bunch of aquintences and people I know and we all headed to a restaurent for a bite to eat. Anyway there were a few attractive females within our group. We were all sitting in together and we were all chatting with one another. I noticed I am having difficulty in maintaining long conversation which are intresting and funny.

Most of the guys there were naturally funny and their jokes cause people to stop what they are doing and listen to them and laugh at their jokes and stories. I on the other hand found it difficult to keep up and just ending up muffled by the loud laughter and did not say anything at all in the end just laughed with everyone else. The chicks that came with us were very receptive to the jokes of guys with confidence and talked to them most of the night, while I was ignored.

Anyone had any experiences as how to combat people who are funny in groups from hijiking conversations?! as well anybody know a good book of how to be more funny in social situations?!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

i usually dont get that problem but it does happen sometimes and i find that if you just think of something interesting youve done lately, like, see a good film, or going paintballing, and just ask one of these attractives ladies if theyve seen the film or if theyve been paintballing at all and if she says no then talk to her about it saying why she should and if she has see what she likes about it and just go with the flow.

dude, you must have felt like a pile of useless crap being ignored like that. I know man....we've all felt that way.

But there is hope.

See, in the beginning you might not talk a lot, but slowly warm up into it. Try talkign with another person who is being ignored or something like that and as you two get more involved, bring other people in and still keep it going. After you get everyone riled up and happy, move on to another gruop.

It's always hard to "infiltrate" another conversation. And a lot of times, if you're not successful, you feel kinda stupid and people might think you're trying too hard. This is a complex subject man. But don't beat yourself up over it.

I don't even try. It's a weakness of mine.

What I do, is stay silent. Yeah, laugh, talk a bit. But make them want me to talk, and maybe when I manage to get everybody's attention (NOT asking for it).. I tell a kickass joke/comment. And that's it, women/men will want to know me more, because I'm intriguing etc.

Kerensky is on track, i agree.

Slowly build up your convo and 1 by 1 hook them into it. As if telling a spooky story in a campfire where everyone surrounds you. Dont try too hard, as it'll be obvious you want attention....try your best to infiltrate the convo and somehow relate to it, that way eyes will slowly turn to your direction.

Yes you mustve felt like ****, i've run into countless times like these in the past. The secret to this is having confident body language and good strong voice when you speak....and when you do open your mouth, make sure it's something witty that everyone'll laugh to and not dumb or obvious.

Why do you think Leaders and followers exist? For the same reason that which situation occured that night with your acquantances.

People are immediately pulled in to trusting and liking that person if he/she deems worthy of having qualities of a leader.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
