"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Being 17 and just leaving high school, I have the chance to reinvent my life, or simply improve on it.
I think my character and personality is a little dull, all I do is go to the gym or do something exercise related (boxing, football) and I need some flair in my life.
You see these guys who are livewires always with something interesting and exciting to do, so I don't see any limitations in why I shouldn't be like them.
I was thinking along the lines of travelling or skydiving (both things I'd like to do).

Can you give any insight into my problem/were or are in the same situation; any ways to make me a funnier/more exciting and spontaneous person.

The thing is, I'm not 'just' doing these things to make myself more attractive to ladies, I actually want more excitement and happiness in my life, as I've been feeling very apathetic and boring for the past years.

Hope you can help.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You have given your own answer already. You know what you'd like to do and they all seem to be exiting so go do it.

Doing these things will make you feel better about yourself, and you will find you have more energy and you will use this energy on other areas in your life and so you start your own little upward spiral.

Do it. Any of the things you listed will help, but don't just limit yourself to those things, keep looking for something that will push you. I think you've got a great outlook and you know what to do here, now its just about getting out and doing it. Good luck with it and congrats on HS.
