"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Hey guys,

I'm giving my 50% mexican girlfriend a card for valentine's day, along with the other sh1t (generic valentine's day, you know the drill), but just for fun since she speaks a decent amount of Spanish, I thought I'd write one and have it translated (and what better way to do so without embarrassment than the good old internet?) so if someone could translate this very short message that'd be cool:

Happy Valentine's day! It's been a great few months since the start of the school year, and I'm so glad to have gotten to know you. I hope you've enjoyed our relationship as much as I have.

(suggestions welcome but not necesarry, I've been around long enough to know that something I said is a sin to the DJ Bible in one way or another:p )

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

ditto, man.

Asi deben escribir todos nosotros latinos, pero desgraciadamente algunos escriben mal y nos da mala fama.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

¡Feliz día de San Valentin! Han sido unos meses muy buenos desde que empezó el año escolar y estoy muy contento de haberte conocido tan bien. Espero que hayas desfrutado nuestra relación hasta ahorita, tanto como yo lo he hecho.

Some accents were missing if we come too serious about the letter.

Happy Valentines Day. It's been a great relationship and I want it to continue being good. It's been pleasing getting to know you and I very much enjoy having you in my life.

I don't know enough spanish to say this, but this is what I'd suggest.

Holy crap!!!

does spanish do that too? I know french is hardcore into flow, but spanish is hard up for it too?

YAY!

san valentino is the sexiest way I've heard to say saint valentine...

I'm going to run a routine on valentines day with that sentence.

Feliz día de San Valentin

Damnit I gotta hit up my friend spazz, She's going to anchor the mindset in my mind...

"mon boi!!!!"

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

French may be the language of love, but Spanish is the language of sexy. Thanks a lot guys!! Can't believe how many responses this got, and I'll give you feedback on Tuesday or Wednesday.

And Dimebag, you are funny man. Your spanish statment has nothing to do with valentine's day.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

I said your spanish isn't that good, to keep studying, but I didn't mean it in an aggressive way. I am impressed you know french.

I can't speak french, but I can struggle through some of it though.

And Dimebag, I do know enough Spanish to know you're a funny guy.
