IF YOU ARE A MAN, STAY AWAY FROM SOY.

SOY HAS FEMINIZING PROPERTIES (UPS ESTROGEN PRODUCTION, DROPS TESTOSTERONE PRODUCTION)

I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH. SOY IS (LITERALLY) PROTEIN FOR WOMEN.

Soy has many health benefits. If you're taking in excess of something like 200g of soy a day, then what DIESEL said may become a concern. If you don't make it your primary protein source and consume about 25-50g a day, you won't have to worry about any estrogenic side effects.

In fact, in reasonable quantities like those I mentioned, the isoflavones and other stuff in it can help regulate a man's estrogen production in a positive way (as in helpful toward gains, etc.).

as k-daddy said, soy has many health benefits. overall, soy is amazing for your body

but for muscle building, soy may not be the best choice because it takes longer to break down when compared to whey. whey is a thinner, faster absorbing protein....but it also tastes like crap.

i was on soy for a month before i switched to whey last week. the soy tasted amazing, but it was DAMN high in carbs (14g per scoop!). now my whey stuff gives me almost twice the protein with 1g of carbs

cheers

I dunno why people say whey tastes like crap... they whey shakes I've made with milk and a couple scoops of whey have always been great...
