Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

"A group of researchers representing Miami Research Associates recently compared the effects of supplementation with four different protein sources--soy concentrate, soy isolate, a soy/whey blend, and whey protein--on hormone levels, and body composition in 20 men (with an average age of 30 years) enegaging in a 12-week resistance training program. Subjects were randomly assigned to receive only one of the four protein supplements and were blinded to the specific protein type they received. All subjects lifted weights three times per weeks and consumed 50 grams per day of the protein supplement that had been assigned to them.

All four groups exhibited similar increases in lean body mass after 12 weeks. There were no differences in testosterone levels among the four treatments. The researchers concluded, "This investigation shows that 12 week supplementation with soy protein does not decrease serum testosterone or inhibit lean body mass changes in subjects engaged in a resistance exercise program."

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

dividing 20 men four ways does not allow you to draw statistical inferences, way too small a sample.

however, this accords with what omen and others have been saying, that fear of soy is overblown.

A better place, a better time.
You're right, Soy doesn't decrease Testosterone levels.

It increases Estrogen levels. Keep that in mind when you go bald and grow tits.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Whey protein after your workout, casein before bed. There is no need for a male to EVER take soy.
