"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Okay guys, let me be real to you guys on here. I am 22 now, but at 17, I came to the lord. I am very connected to him, and he was the one that gave me all of my ideas on acting and sales and everything.

I left God and my devotion to him when I was around 19 or 20, because I had supposed FALLEN in love with this girl at church, and she turned out to not have liked me like that, but really just wanted sex.

I thought that God had done me wrong, so I left my devotion to him and began trying to figure out how to get people and women in particular to like me.

I have never been accepted by any of my peers, well some, but since I want to be in the popular group, they just wasnt good enough I guess.

I began drinking, stealing, sleeping with hookers and *****s, and everything under the sun, there was this voice inside of me that really promoted all this stuff, I believe he is the devil.

While this may sound strange to some people here, I left my devotion to God because of women. I am afraid, that women will not be atrracted to the REAL ME. Not the don juan guy I created, and even he doesnt get the girls I want, anddddd he is a true, real, breathing, don juan...its like the girls are scared of him or whatever.

But, I dunno, if anybody can please help me. I am going back to God, and I am leaving my life of sin, the only problem is, and it was the same last time, I just want some peer friends and some peer girls by my side, and not all older people and everything, which is all I had before. Can anybody give me some advice, I mean, I know its wrong to lust and everything, but, anybody know anything about what I am going through...anybody

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Hey Mr. Cardio,

I come from a Christian background and I've had some of the experiences that you've had. In high school, I had a hard time finding peers and my involvement in the Church did waver for the next few years.

One of the things that I did was take a break from trying to be friends with the "cool kids", and I just started doing stuff that I enjoyed doing (sports, playing instruments, writing, politics). And from there, I would come across people with common interests and befriend them. There were lonely times, but I just used those moments to do stuff that I liked, like working out and learning guitar. And this may sound stupid and corny, but learn to be a friend to yourself.

Since you're going back to God, it's similar to the "Prodical Son" story from the Bible, and that's a great story for you to tell. Also, you can bring up the shepard and finding his lost sheep. If you visit various denominations, many of them have different fellowshipping programs, and they should all be welcoming.

Good luck.
