I think that your biggest problem is this: Instead of being confounded in a bar or club. Try working on yourself, truly getting your confidence levels up so you don't have to concentrate on them all the time. Are you moving? Are you on a train of thought? This way you're more comfortable in your skin and can relax- This is always good.
I've been there man, completely. I have trouble getting into long conversations and grabbing girls so they sit and talk and all of that too. But the difference is I'm not trying to play the confident role...I know deep down that I'm gonna make shlt happen regardless. And you're cool right. Just go with the mindset that you're going to have some good clean fun and convo with some girly somewhere. Try not thinking of it as a game but just speaking english and getting to know someone, possibly physically if you play your cards right.
The one thing I had always missed when I just use to stand around and smile at a girl and do nothing is...they're there to talk and have fun, not stare at people or be stared at. She'll have more respect for you if you attempt to speak with her and keep her attention somehow. Just have a good time. Keep it simple, and remember that rejection is a part of the bigger picture...it's there to keep us strong.
