"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I was standing behind this fine girl on a line, 'what could I conversate w/ her about?' I thought.
Well, I guessed a simple compliment woulda been a good opener. So I tapped her and complimented her on her nails. She turned around and gave me an monotone, expressionless "thank you" I asked her if she just got them done. Without even facing me she just shook her head. I figured a little interest would've given me something to work w/ but no interest means 'forget about it'. So I left her alone. The question is was there any more effort I should have made (if so what), or did her lack of interest already mean back off?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Come on man.... You tapped her on the back to compliment her on her nails in a line...? Thats a little awkard and desperate, don't you think? Try bringing up something about the environment instead.

She probably thought you were creepy, gay or both.

Don't go up to people just to compliment them. You have to be the upbeat person that everyone wants to talk to.

You gotta be the guy who always says funny stuff in the checkout line that everyone laughs at.

Until you understand the concept, STOP using compliments to start off conversations.

Bro, its NYC No ones, upbeat and chatting w/ everyone around them. Have you ever seen a comedian at a check-out line?
The compliment opener is in the Don Juan bible, so u can't blame me for doing it. And can I have an example of something to say about the 'environment'? I'm at old navy's.
And what would a gay guy be doing flirting with a girl anyway?

Well for starters,

When you get out of highschool you'll realize there's two types of people:

The winners and the losers.
What seperates the two is ATTITUDE.

I'm sorry you've never seen a happy peron in your life, it must be pretty depressing. :(

It's always good to know someone who is happier and more upbeat than you so you can try n' be your best.

My personal hero, is a vietnam vet who i work with. He is the most upbeat guy i know and one hell of a womanizer.

This guy can make the most cold-hearted b1tch smile.

I could give you a whole list of openers but what good what they do if you didn't have the personality to back them up?
You'd look kinda stupid wouldn't you if the girl said something back and you were shuffling through your print out of the best one liners.
The problem with giving you canned openers is that they WONT WORK.
You want a quick solution to your problem: Confidence in a bottle.

Have you ever seen a comedian at a check-out line?
I see em all the time.. people joke-ing around and having a good time. But hey, i live in chicago not jerk town USA.

Good luck man, remeber its about attitude. Even if you don't score the girl you like this week or month, at one point you'll meet that girl.

A positive attitude will EVENTUALLY land you the girl you want.

Losers whine about their loss, winners go home and fvck the prom queen.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
