"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I just don't get it. I can get girls numbers and hold a good first conversation (at least I think so) but I just cant seam to keep any girls interest level up for a second date.

Heres how the last date went.

This is a friend that got hired at work the same time as me. It seamed allright and we just joke around and talk when there is a dead spot in our sections but it always seamed cool. Well she hinted to me that she is bored as hell during the weekends since her roommates are working. So i get her number and we hookup for dinner. Everything seams ok. Im not even trying to keep her laughing but seams quiet easy to do since im comfortable and she seamed to be aswell. Anyway then the first real odd thing comes up.. She pays the bill and there was no way I could do anything about it. (not going to fight her over it lol. But all i got to do was pay the tip.) i was like ok... I guess she just wants to be friends. Ok she is a co-worker so dating and blowing it with her would probably be a bad thing.
We took her car because It turns out i got a flat on my way to where we met. I call my dad and hees on his way with my other set of tires and tools to change them. (i have 2 different sized lugnuts which will not fit the little lug wrench. ) anyway she says she will wait around untill he gets here. We chat a bit and everything still seams fine. Then we finally part.. Now back at work she seams a bit more distant, like its always awkward when were talking. Its not like anything happened but how in the hell can i blow it so easy on the first date when i didnt say or do anything to screw it up...

Is it something I say,
Do,
Look like,
WHAT?
Argh i need a mind reader device so i could fix what it is i cant figure out.

I know I have foot n mouth desease but i kept it under control that night. So why else would she seam different when nothing happened?

Its happening to almost every girl i meet. I can hit it off early but just cant seam to keep anything after. I read the bible, i did a little kino but it just seams something is screwing up.

I would think she would want a bf right now becasue she makes friends with guys (her 2 roommated are computer nerd kinda guys so i doubt she is threatened by them but they do go do stuff like fish and whatnot (fish? lol) ) so i dont get why i cant keep a girl as a friend, nor can i seam to bring up the attraction to get her to girlfriend state. (heck since I have never had a true Girlfriend I have no idea what to do really) At 19 this is really starting to piss me off.

Ok enouth typing. See if anyone can help me through all that gibberish I wrote.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

i think you over analyse your dates while you are still on the date and you should be having fun and relaxing.

hmm maby

Maby, but i was having a good time and just playing it cool. Its just that bad taste of awkwardness that follows at work that I dont get. Wether she sees it as a date or just going to dinner with a fun co-worker why all of a sudden get quiet and lest talkative?

Since it was a few days ago and i only work 2 days this week should I call her and just see whatsup, maby setup a second date and see what hints i can pull out of that or should I just wait and see how the next time at work goes?
