Is that they seem to create this air of unattainability when they show you the hot models posing or being f*cked or whatever.

Like porn for example...

To me, translates to

"Give me your money you pathetic loser because you'll never be banging girls like this in your sorry life"

Or reading Maxim magazine, the editors seem to come off really obnoxious with their "OMG!!! Jessica Simpson, What Every Guy Would Give Their Left Nut to Date! Pg 45!"

And then you read the magazine which is filled with advertisements playing upon male insecurities.

"Enlarge your penis today!"
"Tag Bodyspray, Warning may cause excessive female attention!"
"Give your unsatsified partner the best orgasm she's ever had!"


Don't get me wrong, I like looking at naked women just as much as the next guy....but it seems to me that a lot of guys get f*cked over because they get exposed to all this crap and then skewers their perception about women they find attractive.

"I just need to buy some Axe and maybe that will help my luck with the ladies!"

It all seems like a big ploy by companies which tell us

"To get women, you gotta have (insert "status" material)"

Same thing the "gurus" tell us that "Hot women get approached all the time!" "You must buy my system to be the alpha male!"
