"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

i actually dont go to the HS forum that much cause theres really nothing i can get out of it anymore. i wrote this post last year in the beginning of my junior year, and i thought it would be helpful to some people.

"

lionfox and some other cool people on this site did this so i'll do it too :D!!

im a junior in highschool, so highschool students might be able to relate to this more.

some things i've learned through experience:

- always speak loud and clearly when you speak. whenever you have something ****y or funny to say but you're not loud enough and she goes "huh?" it just ruins it.

- alot of girls that are cute far away aren't always as cute close up.

- it's better to put your ego on risk when doing or saying stupid things rather than letting your ego sit and becoming the "shy person who says nothing."

- pretending that you don't notice her is more effective when you really don't notice her.

- too much of anything is not good.

- working out and then looking at yourself in the mirror is a good way to keep confidence up. do it everyday! oh yeah...and eat correctly also.

- whining is very unattractive.

- we tend to like more of the race that we had our last affair or crush on. (oh no, the deadly crush word).

- if something is uncomfortable to do, do it everyday non-stop for two weeks and then it won't be anymore.

- if you're gonna be funny, keep these in mind: make sure it's not annoying, make sure it doesn't make you look bad, and make sure its actually funny.

- change your hairstyle, the way you dress, or some sort of physical appearance that is noticable every two weeks.

- looks really seriously dont matter (most of the time...unless you're terribly ugly). it is your actions that lead. just dont look like a slob.

- flirt with as many girls as you can, but just dont be annoying.

- act crazy as hell for three days straight, and then totally quiet the next day. watch how many people ask you "whats wrong."

- girls love guys that can sing.

- become friends with your friends' friends until you're friends with your whole school.

- when something that gets you angry occurs, laugh and make a joke out of it.

- do something on stage in front of a crowd.

- don't tell them your talent. let them find you doing it while you "dont know they're watching."

- "one who takes the simplicity out of things is a fool" ~ bruce lee

- don't wear the same piece of clothing or outfit unless it's been two weeks.

- if you see someone you've talked to before, instead of pretending you dont see him/her, just say whats up! you idiot.

- don't speak negatively about anyone with hate...but if you have to, do it with laughter and a joke that you are sure is funny...and don't linger on the subject too long.

- don't eat anything that gives you gas before or during the school day.

- an ego is easier to be fed by what it was first fed once you have one.

- save any video/computer games for weeknights that you dont go out on.

- try not to speak to a girl through instant messaging if you can help it.

- try not to speak to a person you dont know in person through instant messaging unless its for a certain important purpose (aka, don't become good friends with people online that you dont know in person).

- speak to, and make jokes with your teachers.

- speak to the whole class at the same time.

- don't spend so much money on school lunch.

- instead of putting your earphones on, talk to someone during: study halls, free periods, bus rides, etc.

- try to talk to every girl that is above average on your looks scale.

- if you have a girlfriend in your school, unless she's in any of your class, don't make it a habit to go and see her everyday.

- chill with different group of friends every now and then.

- be about something in school!! (ex: the best dancer, the best singer, the best rapper, yadda yadda yadda)

yes well im getting sleepy and it's almost my bed time (trying to get enough sleep every night now -.-) so i must conclude this. if anyone has any questions about any item on the list above, i will gladly explain.

thx for your time!! :D

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

This is my freshman year in high school, and every single one of these I'm doing, except for the new outfit thing which I already have a problem with and I knew that before. I'm going shopping tonight, so I'm going to pick some new stuff up.

Good post. That just boosted my confidence alot, knowing that what I'm doing is actually the right thing. Ironically, singing is basically one of my best talents. Plus, everyone knows that too, and I havn't said anything about it :)

why the **** not? I speak to people I don't know in real life multiple times every single day and I don't see what that has to do with anything. I've even spoken to people here on this site who I don't know in real life. Whats wrong with that?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

okay i was a bit unclear on that, so let me re-itterate.

i mean for people that you HAVE A CHANCE TO TALK TO IN PERSON (ie: people in school), refrain from doing most of the talking through instant message (unless you already have acquired a good relationship with that person).

a lot of newbies are shy people, and so they run to AIM to do all their chatting. so you show yourself to be a talkative person on AIM, but when you finally meet that person, you become shy and quiet and have them thinking (wtf).

so in short, this only points towards the people that you have a chance to talk to in person. for people that you'll probably never meet such as people on sosuave or from other various areas of the net, then its fine.

hope that cleared things up.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
