some ups and mostly downs trying to stay positive

So I have been trying really hard to find a girlfriend had some rejection from one girl waited too long and learned to ask a girl out right away I was too shy and waited too long lost my chance. bothered me for a while now over it. so I thought I would try online got really close to meeting up with a girl. she flaked. talked to a lot of them online. still trying. don't really have a lot of friends that like to go out looking for girls or places to meet them cant really go alone assuming I would look creepy. haven't givin up yet but getting really close.

my question is do people actually meet online?
what would you guys do in my situation?
what are some good examples of online dating profiles and email to write girls maybe I am really bad at it.
trying to stay positive im 28 and hope there is a chance out there for me to find a girl.

Online dating is for funny sexy guys , if you are not any of them dont expect alot , I think youd better play the role of good guy who want to get married, I always get responses and some times date when I create such a profile, usually from desperate women who just want "the white dress" .
If you are established guy then try e-harmoney , it seem most women choose eharmoney when they are looking for more than hookup while keeping OK and plenty of fish for hookup.

in general online dating kill the self worth of a lot of men , it is proven it is hard to get rejected too many times even if you are online.
I know a guy who just become crazy from online dating , women killed all his self worth after he was really cool guy now he act weird to look cool and poeple asking why he is acting like that .
