I found a cute girls number in my phone from a number close 2 years ago lol.

decided to go for it and texted her that we had fun a couple of years ago and she didnt remember me that well.
anyway some texts back and forth and asked her to go for drinks this weekend she replies 25 mins later: im busy this weekend but we could meet up for some drinks, what day is good for you?

me: saturday

her: okk

me: lets meet up at X time X loc

her: Okay I think I can

me: oke

after 20mins she starts texting me with questions do you know this partic guy(old friend of me we both know)? me yes hes an old friend.

all ok, replieying with short answers to get her to stop.

anyway she asks me what your up 2. me: in the gym

her: do you train a lot?

me: 3-4times a week you?

her: me 1-2 times a week

me: you dont go enough, im going to motivate you dont worry

her: ok thanks i know should go more

me: you prolly only go to the gym so you can tell people I sport I know whatsup

tried to be C1Cky funny there she ignores the text and earlier she insta replies to everything

shes on ignore for 30minutes now while online on whatsapp the whole time, sh1t test? or actually a big f*ck up? I didnt send anything after that text. (I figured that she didnt like what I said coz she isnt talking anymore)

what do you guys do when a girl keeps texting you while the date is set up

Unless you're naturally ****y/funny, I wouldn't bother with it. Just comes across as weird. Especially coming from someone she barely met 2 years ago who is free on a Saturday. Lol.

Doesnt sound like the end of the world. Just act like that didn't happen, and continue with your plan. Never admit to any fault. Unless your in a serious ltr, or a marriage, and you seriously fvck up really bad, which really shouldnt happen.

Do not back pedal. If you back pedal, it will only make you look desperate, and weak.

This thread is a perfect example of why texting should only be used to,

• 1) Get directions to the date location.

• 2) Tell the person that you're texting you're en route to the dating venue

With texting too many things can be lost in translation.

STOP MAKING DATES TO GO ON DATES! I repeat, STOP MAKING DATES TO GO ON DATES! Call her just to touch bases and gauge her receptiveness to a potential date. On the day you plan on taking her out, call and tell her meet you at "x" location.

IF she texts you because she WANTS to text you. That's fine. But just frivolous texting back and forth can open up the doors to screwing things up.

1. Telegraphing too much interest
2. Saying obscure things
3. Trying for rapport

Just set the date up and leave it there. Call her on the day of the date.
