"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I have been reading infidelity forums for a while now trying to get some perspectives as to the human behaviors that lead to infidelity. Thus far, some of the conclusions I have reached point to the bottom line of decision-making. What drives the action of cheating?
For some people it seems to be a preemptive strike. They have been hurt before so they figure might as well be a player than be played. For others it is either to fulfill an emotional need or a physical need that is missing from their current relationship.
My questions keep gnawing at me and would appreciate various perspectives if you have some time and/or willingness.

Do people who take on the preemptive strike stance of "be a player instead of being played" resolve these internal issues with their multiple partners? Does inflating the ego help their self esteem long-term? Or is its just a temporary high? Is this why "once a cheater, always a cheater"?

If an emotional need or a physical need is not being met, is it better to go looking for it elsewhere, jeopardizing the well-being of your partner rather than sticking it out? Is it selfish to demand that need be met, or is its legitimately fair to just bail from the relationship or cheat?

Is it more common for men to cheat? Or for women? What are the main gender differences when it comes to infidelity?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

It's the same reason why people murder, steal, or con. Because they are a natural-born piece of sh!t. It's a character component. No balls to end it and start over. They are selfish and want it all regardless of others. Kind of like a criminal mind, isn't it? No one has to cheat, yet they still do. It is the person's natural character made into a choice.
