Why people bother to continue their relationships when they're WAY beyond repair blows me away.

I got a message from my former mistress today. She informed me that her and her fiancee are now in an open relationship. She is free to fvck any guy she wants with one exception (guess who the exception is )

I have no clue what the details of this relationship are, but it's obviously very messy. The guy proposed to her after he found out she screwed around on him. After the engagement, she screwed around on him again with a different guy. It's so fvcking obvious that the relationship is dead, but yet they're trying to make it work by opening up the sexual gates.

Why? Why? Why? Why can't people just say "this isn't working, let's go our separate ways". Why must they make sure that the house is burned all the way to the ground?

It'll probably end after she fvcks some other guy. I've never seen an open relationship work.

She'll have to develop an emotional attachment to the guy she's fvcking for it to end. She did that with me and ended up moving out on him, but she went back to him a month or two after I ended the affair.

I always chuckle when I see woman on social networking sites actually utilizing the "In a open relationship" option in their relationship status. What's even better is, "It's complicated" which we all know is codename for "Hey guys, me and my boyfriend are fighting, so fvck me now so I can rationalize to myself that I did nothing wrong."

Back to the point though. I completely agree. Why try and salvage something beyond repair? Anyone I know who has tried these "open relationships", it never worked out. All it does is stretch the messiness and pain way longer than it needs to be.

Not me, most men are in serious disrepair and nothing anymore surprises me. As for women? See above plus the whole branch swinging and never without orbiters thing.

Seriously? The irony is all the expended energy your giving her is reaffirming her unique special snowflake opinion she has of herself. Would just be something she can talk about during conversation lulls with the new bozo about " the crazy obsessed ex who's making her life hell" It's phucking chick crack my friend.

I'd personally make it my mission to prove with 100% believability that I wasnt really that phased (sadly I dont even think I would be in all honesty). Wish her and the new fella all the best, then maybe next week she will see me with a younger and hotter chick.
You can bet your ass that would do far more damage than giving her another "story" to share about how bad men are.
