"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Ok, heres the situation:
I've been going on sosuave for a while, and it has served me to a point, but as they say, its like 10% mental game and knowledge, the rest is just getting out there and doing it.
I happen to be pathetic in that area. Let me lay out the cards(I might be a bit soft on myself cuz its hard for me to even admit all this crap to myself):

-I go to a tiny school where there are 10-15 guys in our grade, 25-30 girls. The odds are in our favor.
-I am quite good looking from what people have told me. we have a spring formal every year, so since many of the
girls dont wanna go stag(alone), i can get myself almost anyone i want. However, thats bout it.
-I have a strong ring of friends aka every guy in my small school is my friend, and a lot of them are pretty solid.
ABSOLUTELY no prob here. It goes downhill when it comes to girls.
- I am decently tall, like 5'11" and im 15.
- I have bunches of sweet hobbies like making games, like 3 sports, art, math, piano etc... Thats prob why i have taken so long
to start focusing on girls
-My game SUCKS. I have, in my school, what translates to about a 4.0 GPA yet theres a downside and or upside to that.
I'm brutally self critical but therefore have this nasty habit of overestimating the risk of everything i do with girls.
- I have never kissed a girl, or even done anything but dance w/ her but im really sure i could get to that level easily if I worked on MY GAME, that my prob.
-Last year, before even knowing bout this site, I was AFC and still am but at least i kno the brutal dos and donts.
-I wouldnt say my heart was crushed when this happened but this girl i had a crush on said i was stalking her. I was to a certain extent,
but I was so naive it was pathetic- i wasnt close to aware of it. So I at the beginning couldnt even accept i was stalking her. I thought she was overreacting, before
I took a long hard look at myself and realized how obvious it actually was.
- Now that I've taken this look on myself, I am more scared of rejection than ever.

I am now gonna outline the probs and the steps ive taken to fix them:

Probs:
1. I am scared of self rejection and need innovative techniques to improve self confidence around girls
(I have searched and everything, and all i have found did not work).
2. I want to make my self-image/ego not depend on my achievements(they depend on my achievements cuz im insecure
to the point that i cant base my ego and stuff on anything else), cuz if u can help me w/ that that'll prob solve #1 too.
3. I have this teacher whose being a jerk, treating me like a negotiating rat which really pisses me off. Call me ANYTHING
but a filthy little rat. I kno she has it wayyy out for me.
4. I am scared of performing kino. Im serious. I feel itll work well for me but i think it might look awkward and ive figured out enough
to kno that if i percieve myself as awkward, itll be picked up on.

For these probs, i would like solutions if possible, because i see on this site stuff like "get more confidence in urself". HOW??
Now here are the solutions i have been workin on.

1. I've been workin out. Lots of calisthenics and crap. The guys in my school have abs but they just show cuz there skinny. Like actual muscles that u work on they lack.
No lats, traps, etc. i plan on getting those. I just got out of a 3-month leg brace and so im workin out my legs. My goal: do cross country in aprilish and reach
like sets of 40 pushups by then too. I kno its a small amount but its enough to get me in better shape than other guys.
2. I plan on learning even MORE hobbies, although it might just make me dependent on them even more.
3. I plan on starting meditation, possibly, learnin it from my dad.

Help me please

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

oki im not gonna sugar coat anything so heres the deal....

from what ive read , your lack of confidence is a mental problem , you say your good looking u say u got muscles u got hobbies and friends ... so these all things arent the things holding u back... i believe it is the fear.....

the fear that everyone has at one point of his life , the fear of rejection the fear of failure , but the thing is no one can really help u in that matter exept yourself.... the sooner you understand that limiting yourself to act a certain way and denying the other actions u do want to make is like putting a strain jacket on yourself.... now u wanna do some hoodini **** that can get you free....

wel its simple you just have to not care so much about the of the fear , realising that prolly what u do at that age will not matter as much in two years from then
that life is short and u just shouldnt care about what other people think about you.....
grab your cohonas and just go out and do it , u see a girl u like, have a conversation with her , u want to date her? ask her out , doing these simple things will give u the confidence u need....

adn if u havent read the bible then do so , read understand then apply it to your life..... dont try to do the things that are written in the bible literally , ur supposed to apply it to how you live your life....

thanks a lot
other prob- stupid but true
there are like 3 tables
1. guys sit mainly nerdy guys but they are my friends
2. guys n girls- cool
3. not as cool girls but still bangable mat'l

The thing is, if i change table, my goodie two shoes nerd friends will say im betraying them. I also have this impression the others have already "pegged" me as one of the nerdy guys, so if i sit there
theyll be nice to me outta pity. I would like to sit there, but i feel itll give me more harm than good.

sit at all three ... be a rebel show these people that u wont abide by the generlisation that highschool puts on people...

like one day hang out with your friends and then go hang out at the table with guys and girls then just to show that u really dont care go hang out with the "uncool girls" u gotta know a people at each table cuz as you said u go to a shcool with very few students....
and somedays hang out at all tables in a day....

I think the secret comes in destroying my idea of what other people percieve of me. I analyze myself so much that i think i kno wut others think of me. that attitude is probably wut defeats me more. I want to:
-get rid of this dependency on what other people think of me
-change this idea of what others percieve of me.

Any ideas?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
