Valentine's day

I'm feeling nostalgic.

My ex-gf decided to delete her twitter shortly after we broke up.

So I decided to do some detective work.

Found her new twitter in 5 mins.

There was an interesting quote.

Basically, her saying, she doesn't want to be an assh0le but (someone) will be a loser in 10 years, so goodbye and do your best <3 <3

Another post, saying (someone) can live their life the way they want. (someone) will one day find a special, shining, magical girl that is good enough for them.

Someone is probably referring to me. :crackup:

So I looked up the date it was posted on the calendar.
And...she called me that day.
About a week after we broke up.

We talked for about 5 minutes. I ended the call because I was tired of her doing that to me.

And you know, I'll always seen this side of her on social media and a little bit in real life.

I was never the target of it and to me, it just seems harmless and cute.

Sometimes when we're with the girl, we refuse to acknowledge their dark side.

Those quotes just made my day, I'm glad we broke up.

I'm just surprised seeing this side of someone I used to love.

Somehow I brainwashed myself from seeing the true side of this girl.

I've always wondered why some guys fall madly for some girl with trashy personality. Now at least, I can sympathize.

I absolutely disagree with you that social media is the best way to see a girls "true" personality. You actually in fact don't know those statements are about you. I'm sure it is, but you never know when it comes to twitter, Facebook, etc. Those sites will always do more harm then good. It's a constant reminder of that person when in reality you should totally be going ghost. Next time you take a peak she might write "I just met the best guy ever" "He has the biggest **** I ever seen!" How would that make you feel? I'm sure it would piss you off because your a male. All males get caught up with crap like that...

It doesn't matter who that quote is directed at.

It is the quote that matters.
Personally, I never think that "so and so will be a loser in 10 years...etc." no matter who they are.

I'm not one for schadenfreude, otherwise I would relishing with the fact that these girls will hit The Wall, like some other guys.

And I've always read quotes like this from her, somehow I chose to go on ignoring it.

Girls always post stupid quotes without fully considering what it means.
You REALLY should not care, because even they don't care. It sounds cute, deep or profound so they post it and other girls who wish they posted it first will give them "likes" and retweet it.
One girl who cheated on her BF retweeted motherfvcking SOULJA BOY saying "loyalty is everything".
Does that even deserve a response?

Some girls even tattoo quotes on their bodies.
If you are a fan of Kurt Vonnegut you know that his "logo" is a weird looking star, which is actually a sketch of an assho1e. If you've only read Slaughterhouse Five, his most popular book, you wouldn't know that and may think it's just a star. There are a ton of girls who have the famous Vonnegut quote "So It Goes" tattooed on them, with that "star" underneath.
They have no idea they got a tattoo of an assh0le... but they'll also tell you how much they love Vonnegut.

Stupidity is never an excuse. The fact is, I know some girls who would never say such a thing even when I broke up with them on really bad terms.
She really was a low-quality girl and there's no debate about it now in my mind.

It's amazing what people put on their twitters. Met up with a girl and she was cool, but I felt like something was off. She mentioned she had twitter so I looked her up and there was some pretty funny stuff on there..

"Had 3 guys this weekend but still thinking of my ex"
"Woke up next to a doctor. I win"
"Always fun giving out my number to guys then jumping ship as soon as my 'buddy' texts me to come over"
"Trying to date multiple guys.. Always comes back to bite me"

Yea man, some of them are really stupid. The thing is, some of them actually believe that it's something to brag about.

And Nickface, you're right, man. I do care. I thought it was a good breakup at first, more due to circumstances than anything.

Who wants to hate someone they used to love? But that quote keeps echoing in my head. I'd be lying if I said it didn't piss me off.

At first, I thought about keeping in contact with her, but that quote is unforgivable.

No man should ever tolerate disrespect.

Of course women make the ex boyfriends look like an a$$hole and a jerk to their friends and family. They need to justify that they were right for breaking up with you. Their support group will be right there for their comfort and aid. They get to exploit you and seek validation from their support group. Its a win-win situation for them. Even chicks who cheat will make the dude look bad. That gives her a perfect excuse to say it was OK to cheat. So she doesn't look like a hoe to friends and family. That's dumb you're looking at her new twitter account anyway. Who cares. Quit caring so much about an ex. She doesn't care for you that much.
