"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I found that even though I am doing much better with women now than my younger days, what I do miss is that sense of belonging and having a "social circle" (or a crew as some may call it). Fraternity guys got this in college but I was wondering if any of you have had some luck getting something like this after college.

A group of guys to hang out with, party with, chase girls with, go drinking with, etc.

Any luck or is it hard as **** once you're out of school?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

For me as how I'm feeling right now is having a crew is overrated. What they say and do is usually a big contrast. When you have a crew it could be alright for awhile, but there is jealousy involved, cackblocking, and some dudes claim they don't fall for these bar flys easily, but end up getting caught up with one and dissappear, only to reappear when they are broken up. Too much hating, and playing both sides of the fence for me. I'm 30 so I have had the experience of many crews and they all pretty much ended up the same in my experience. I wouldn't discourage you to do it though, maybe you will find some fellas who you click with and have good chemistry. It is fun gaming checks with the crew, but once a guy in the crew isn't getting none, trouble starts brewing, or if you pulling the most....jealousy hate, backstabbing....I'm cool I prefer to game chicks when I am alone

Try meetup.ca , class: Yoga, Dancing, Boxing/Martials Arts, reading clubs etc...

Your crew will come from the activities you engage and the friends event you go to. Still same game.

I got a boy crew after university, we meet once in a while.... I got a couple of organisations I fundraise for... they became friends, I have the gym + dancing.... so I start going out with the people I see casually there.

I am a pretty reserved guy and I don't initiate activities or talk to them unless I get invited.

So you should be good. Also, your alumni association can help.

I have more friends now than I did in university
