This is exactly my problem, and I am really falling for this girl now.
I'm 19 in college and met this hot coed who has a boyfriend back where she is from, which is long-distance. I think they have been going out for 4 months now.
Anyways, we ended up in the same class together, so we became friends through some other friends. One night, I pass her by on campus and suggest that we study together for the midterm in that class later that night. She said yes, and I came by round 10pm to her dorm room. We were mildly flirting, other people were in and out of the room too, so we weren't getting much done in regards to studying.
Shes an artist per say. She's talented at poetry, painting, and drawing. She is also very intelligence and is very classy in terms of dress style. I've done some poetry my self recently so that immediately sparks some interest in me when I mention it.
After a while and much screwing off, we end up on her bed together side by side, reading an article I'm holding for class. Flirting continues. Eventually, everyone leaves cept her roommate who falls asleep after a few drinks she had earlier, and we put down our studying material. She gets back on the bed with me, but this time she rest her head on my shoulder and brings her arm on my chest. I'm like, "Woah."
We start talking about life and philosophy, which is probably my major so I can talk for hours about it. It was really interesting, how much we thought alike and could just easily flow the conversation. Moving on, I notice she starts rubbing my feet with hers. I'm like, "Woah, again."
At this point, I got curious to see how far this could go. So I figured a way to make a point regarding a philosophical principle by holding her hand lightly. However, I didn't let go. This leads her to then slide her fingers between mine and start rubbing my thumb with hers.
Getting steamy huh? (lol)
Let's get to the point: I ended up sleeping in the same bed with her, spooning at times, and holding her hands. I even kissed her on the cheek a few times and she didn't mind. She seemed happy and comfortable the whole time. Note: Her roommate is still in the room, asleep.
I leave at the crack of dawn for classes and see her a little later for our class together, but it wasn't if we had made a relationship progression to her. I would call her apprehensive at the time. Anyways, after class, I show up later again. At this point, I wanted to get a clue on what last night meant to her. I almost casually confront her on what her friends, like her roommate, have been saying since her boyfriend visited not even two weeks before. Apparently, they've been calling it "scandalous" and advised her to stick with her boyfriend.
She ended up saying, in a very non-threatening way, that for now that's what she was going to do. It was almost as if her friends didn't pressure her or judge her that we could of had something.
I took it very casually with a smile saying, "I understand." It sorta didn't hit me hard, cause it happened so fast anyways and I wasn't expecting anything the night before.
So here's my dilemma: I want this girl.
Tomorrow is Friday, and I have her cell phone # and I was thinking of calling her up to do something anyways. Should I? What's my next move? Or should I just not give a damn and move on? Give her time and wait?
Any help is appreciated. Note: I have read some articles on Don Juan, and have been following the site for awhile now, so I'm not a newbie necessarily.
