"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

When I say botch I mean in terms of failing. When I say common approach im refering to a women that you see on a common basis(work,school,restaurant,etc.). In my instance I totally fVcked up an approach, and now im thinking about it the female classmate really did give me a GREAT oppurtunity to say something to her. I failed to actually say anything, but Did everything else right, Eye contact, Body langauge, etc. Just failed to really say anything to her because we were in a parking lot and I walked by her car as she was getting in, just felt outta place, nah'mean? So now what changes since I fvked up?

A. Make a more ballsy approach?
B. Fvckin forget it and move on?
C. Just keep going about my bizness and pretend to bump into her or somethin?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

First impression is important... she may have thought you were a more interesting guy but u kept quiet.. i advise you to just avoid her for a while(with a good body language, of course) and retake that first meet after 2 or 3 days and show her you have something more interesting to talk about than just work or classes

It doesn't sound like you screwed it up, based on what you typed. Body language is 95% of communication so you have that going for you so far.

Just relax and try again, it's a learning process. I promise this won't be the last time something like this happens. What you need to do is look at it as a learning experience, not an F up.

Read some more material and try to get your confidence back because it sounds like you lost a little bit of it.

Ya my confidence has plummeted completely since I broke up with a girl i dated for a few months. I dont get Nervous at all around women. Just most of the time I dont feel bothered to actually make an approach or spark some interest. Im gonna give it another go with her.

We all have our 'funk' periods bro, you'll snap out of it, no worries.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
