Rival? Pssh! Rival insinuates a worthy adversary. These sites were AFC nests, right? Rival is too honorable a title for them. :woo:

they really werent even rivals, because gp and the swirl were chick sites whereas sosuave was the guy site.
a rival would be tucker's site right?

Gp.com sounded like a chick site, but it was more of a unisex issue site. Problem was you had everyone that didn't have a clue giving the guys asking for clues advice. I think the site change reflected it when it went to Datingissues.net.

None the less, mASF is still around. Not sure how active it is. Anyone that's familiar with ASF/mASF know the newsgroup addresses/etc... let me know via PM if you can, I lost 'em in my last HDD wipe.

What is it about old posters disappearing from this site. I check back on classic posts and the posters who wrote them (and attained a certain amount of immortality through doing so) seem to have left the forum years ago.

What is it about people leaving the forum? Did they just hook up with a girl and call it quits with thesite, or is there something else going on here? I've seen other places where there's nowhere near the kind of transient theme that there is on this site - people hanging around for a while and then leaving.

Where have all the classic posters gone and what are they doing now?

Gp.com was a classic case of the blind leading the blind. You had AFC's getting advice from other AFC's who were equally cluseless. i remember when diesel went over there and posted. Man, that was some funny sh1t.

PuertoRican Lovers posts used to always crack me up and so did Capi Crimini.

I also remember xxthe onexx with his conspiracy theories.

David D. used to post here before he became a "guru", Cant remember his username though.

I remember back in the day when suckers thought Ross jeffries was the second coming of Christ on this site. There was even a section of the forum titled "unusual techniques in seduction" dedicated to his material. Thank God all his crap was deleted from the DJ bible. The ones that always got me was his "snappy comebacks for sleezoid sluts" and his "seret admirer' gambit, jesus that one was lame.

i dated a guy who made a big deal one day about going to dinner.
so i got a sitter before i got off work.
then people started walking in, saying some guy said to give this to you, and handed me a rose.
each rose had a little necklace bead attached with a letter.
the letters went as " i lvoe "
so then he picked me up and took me to dinner where the place had the rest of the roses that spelled uoy bbay"
then he put them on some string and made a necklace.
it had a poem on some parched paper.
8 years later, i still have the poem and i still have that necklace somewhere, but i can not remember where i put him.
