So my tendonitis is back.. and I need to workout

I can't do my usual routine. Anything that puts pressure on my left leg is out (squats, deads, hypers, cardio.. etc). Its a total PIA but I need to go light on it so the damn thing heals so I CAN get back to normal. Any who in the mean time I'm trying to come up with some semblance of a effective modified routine to use. Any advice would be helpful (2x week routine).

Right now I'm thinking..

Day1:
barbell bench press
paused dumbbell bench press
skull crushers
abs crunch machine

Day2:
Shoulder press
chins
back supported rows
hammer curls

Chins/pull-ups, rows, bench-press and overhead-press are all solid.

walking and swimming for cardio

pullups, chinups, seated rows, etc. any seated exercise. bench press could work too but there is a lot of tension on the legs for the movement.

dont do any real leg workouts until the pain is gone, focus on general fitness/chest/back/arms/abs.

You know best, but make sure you don't 'baby' your leg, it'll try to take away mobility/strength/flexibility unless you train it otherwise. Active healing works best.

When i broke my knee, it took a long time to fix the imbalance and get strength and co-ordination back with it b/c it was stiff for so long. Same when i injured my elbow in 2006, for months after it had 'healed' it was painful to do any sort of triceps exercise(dips, skullcrushers) because i didn't keep it active, i still feel it sometimes even now because I let it go and babied it.

In other words, let it heal but make sure you keep testing it and pushing it back to 100%.

I suffered from Inflamed Hip Flexors for three years,any hard exercise gave me pain,sitting down afterwards gave me sciatica.....I found that regular exercise using a spring (You could use a bicycle inner tube)having one end attached to an Eye bolt,screwed into the Skirting board and timber bottom plate,and having an old belt at the other helped a lot....to avoid the attendant pain that would follow I did my exercise just before going to bed....I tried ignoring the pain initially and just running or exercising through it,with respect to QuickSilver,it just made it worst...My hips took three and a half years to recover...attention to footwear can be beneficial,if you have pain,try changing into slippers and try pronating your feet,silly but there was some effect for me.
