Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

go clubbing tonight. Only problem I've been seeing is that a lot of girls(hot ones) have dudes with them already or are in a pack of chicks. Thats all dandy but it really makes me mad because looking for single chicks in such an environment is a very tedious task.

Also, past couple of days I've gone sarging but my friend is stalker type of dude and when we find a group of chicks to talk and to and build rapport he jokes about putting people in my trunk or rape, and stuff like that...should I go alone?

And also, if I do pull a chick I have nowhere to take her and I only got enough money to get in the club because gas is expensive and I bought a bunch of liquor last night..should I suggest her place?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Dime, brotha..

You seem like a level-headed guy, with good musical tastes.

You are in a similar situation to many close friends of mine. Most of my friends are the rock-metal type, and HATE clubs. Luckily, I really enjoy techno and house as well, so I love to go and dance.

Here's some advice for you:

Don't go to a club to pick up girls. Go to have fun. If you don't have fun at clubs, you'll never pick up. Women can sense that kind of brooding emotion you get when you're frustrated. That isn't something they find attractive.

Of course, if you do go to a club, the reason you go is to hang with your buds, or dance. I assume you don't like to dance, so all I can say is learn how to like it.
And your bud...if you have a problem with his brand of humor, tell him straight up to stop it. If he's any type of friend he will stop. Otherwise, don't invite him to go anymore.

From various personal observations, I have discovered that the girl you see a guy with at the start of the night is, nine times out of ten, not the guy she ends up going home with. Don't let the fact that you see guys with girls get you down - where else would the guys be?
