"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So I was talking to my best female friend tonight, for the record I'm not interested in her more than a friend, and neither is she, but anyway, I just started talking to a girl and told my best female friend that this girl did drugs and how cool she seems or some stuff like that. Well then she proceeds to tell me "Be careful, you might get hurt." "Girls like that will hurt you."

So I'm getting this sinking feeling in my stomach that's making me wonder why she said that. I mean, females give some weird advice but I'm just talking to this new girl for fun and experience with women. Maybe she does drugs, maybe she's a fun party girl and maybe I might get hurt but my female friend made it seem like......SHE's DANGEROUS. Also I had a 3 some 2 weeks ago and she's telling me that I'm starting to become more of a jerk and stuff like that since I'm having more success with girls. She's not being jealous or anything but it sounds like Momma's advice to me.

I'm not sure what I'm asking from you guys but why do girls or people always warn you of getting hurt? How are you supposed to take that advice?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands. -Sun Tzu

If you set yourself so you cannot be hurt, you won't be.

How do you do this? Be secure with yourself, go into it eyes-open, and be prepared to walk away.

Thanks, I was thinking along the same lines. To be honest this girl I met is attractive enough for a long term relationship but from what I've learned from this site, David DeAngelo, Ross Jeffries and all the other people that study what we do, I just have to go at it like a man.

Main reason why people dish out advice is because the person they are dishing it out to seems to need it. It seems as if this girl that's telling you about this other girl believes that you aren't capable of handling girls. She thinks that you will get hurt easily and you'll be in a sorry state when you do.

People who are confident about their actions and who are capable of handling themselves in dire situations tend to receive less advice. That's because they don't really need it. Others will notice this by the way you talk about things. They are able to see that even if the shyt hits the fan, you're unphased by it.

Next time this girl tells you negative things about someone else, find out the reasons why she's telling you all this. Ask her questions. It's weird and sickening sometimes how other people think they know what's best for you better than you yourself, even though you never asked for any help.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

You could indeed get hurt, physiclally if this girl hangs out at wild biker bars or something or hard core parties with drug dealers. Hell you could get shot and killed.

But I doubt that's what your friend was talking about, she's thinking about your emotional well being. But if indeed you're embrassing the DJ teachings, which it seems like you are as she said you're becoming more of a jerk, then you proably don't have to worry about that. Do what you want to to, have fun, be young.

You're reading into it too much. She said it because she has some type of impression of what "girls like that" are like and she's just saying it to say it. You can't base anything solid off of what she just said. Ignore it. If you dont' have feelings for her then this shouldn't even be an issue.
