"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So I need some advice...

Hello everyone.

I went on a date last night with a girl that I found attractive not only physically, but personality wise. She is a girl who doesn't appear to bull**** you. She was very straight forward and easy to read. She told me that she likes me a loooot, and she enjoyed the time we spent together.

But with every good thing comes a problem.

She is living with 5 other people. One of which she has lived with for a couple of years. She is 16, almost 17 years old (I am 18.) The one is a man I will identify as Bob. Bob has been taking care of her, providing for her, etc. for a while now. Her parents are flakes and she hasn't had much "care" go in her direction besides him. This man is 26 years old. She loves him, on more than a "thanks for caring" level. He "loves" her too, but when she asks how, or if he loves her in a more serious way, he NEVER answers directly. I learned how much she loves him AFTER I had held her hands and cuddled really closely with her in a movie. Thus I was sh1tting out my ego and playing the therapist role as we chatted after the fact. She told me during this that me caring about her issues and trying to help her is something that she finds really attractive in me. She even told me if she figures out what he feels is not love for her, she's all mine.

BUT THERE IS THE PROBLEM. That isn't what the hell I want. I don't want to be her "2nd best choice." I did EVERYTHING Don Juan that I knew, like neg hits, playful touching and teasing, therapist, etc, not because I was trying to seduce her for sex, but I really like a girl that is genuine and honest with me. She wasn't going on that date to fvck me (She would, but sex isn't the reason she was attracted to me) but she likes me for who I am. But how do I get her to forget this 26 year old (who has A LOT more time with her, fvcking lives with her...) and has been the only person who's really cared about her for a good portion of her life, and concentrate ONLY on me. I got to the point yesterday that I almost saw no hope, and I'm sure that I reflected that through body language by accident, but there is hope, I just need some advice. Thanks in advance.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Sadly, I know exactly how you feel. But every girl has a past, some relationship that failed or they wouldn't be single, and you can't just pop into their life and overshadow that. Even if you're the better catch, she'll want you to make Mr. X jealous. Becoming the new Mr. X takes time.

Plus your girl is 16 - she's too young to be expected to be reliable. It's fly by night with her until she's 23+. The good news is, when you're 26, you'll get newer, hotter 16 year olds.

In some states (where I come from in MA) 16 is the age of consent. Not that I condone 26 and 16. For a guy who is 26 the girl should be at least 20 (half your age + 7).

and get fuked in the ass by a man named Leroy in the prison cell? :D :D :D

Yo, bro. You don't have to trip so much.

Let's look at the logistics.

You're 18.

She's 16.
He's 26.

He ain't hookin up with that girl. And if he is...that punk azz is goin straight to jail. Trust me on this....fukin girls spread the word.

So don't trip about this girl being with that guy. It may happen. It may not. But what the fuk can YOU do about it?

How the fuk can you change it? It's something beyond your control. You'll have no fukin clue what happens on those times that you ain't there.

And thinking about it and using your fukin imagination ain't making you happier either.

Look at the situation as it is.

You're 18.

She's 16.

He's 26.

You're wasting your god damn time going for this bytch. You ain't gettin' no puzzy until she's 18.

What?

You gonna try to hit it on the DL?

You think nobody's gonna find out?

Fuk that, bro. Go for a girl your own age. There's a lot of honies who are 18 years old and up that you can LEGALLY fuk.

Don't mess with fire.

Fuk him. He's 26...he ain't messing with no 16 year old ass.

And you...get some brains, yo. You're 18. She's 16. What you planning on doing, playa? You can't tap that. Not yet. You gonna wait for two years to hit that?

Fuk that.

Get a bytch who's at least 18. Don't sell yourself short. There's a lot of honies out there who are LEGAL.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Reading that actually hurt my brain.

Age of consent is 16 up here in Kanata. I don't see a big problem with dating a 16 year old if you're 18. It's not ideal but there's nothing morally wrong with it. However a 26 year old and a 16 year old, well that is just plain wrong.

Unfortunately there's not much you can do. Just be yourself and don't worry about it. It's out of your control......... Unless you kill him, which would probably be a bad idea.

LoL

I think she's warming up to me a LOT more. I'm just going to keep up my work and she'll be mine soon. I'll make her forget him soon enough. And to that one *******, this girl is much more mature than the fvcking 18 year olds around here. She's no kid, and I'm no pedo.
