"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

First time poster here. I have been reading DJ ever since it was a Frontpage template with a few dozen stories. Now im in need of some advise. About two months a ago i met a great woman in line a restaurant. I was waiting to get a table and so was she. I introduced myself because frankly I just play the odds game with every woman i meet. Anyways, We talked, and aggreed to meet at the bar later. I had a dinner meeting with some coworkers and she was with her friend. About and hour later my party left so i went to the bar with close friend/ coworker and got ourselfs a round of beers. A few minutes later she shows up and we started talking. The coversation went so great that little that i knew 2 hour went by. The look on her face was great she was so into me and i into her. Just as we were about to leave i got her phone number, but she didnt have a cell so she gave me her work number. So i called her work about 3 days later, and she was so glad to hear from me. We talked and arrange to meet that weekend again. we talked again in a few days, and this girl was great. Great family loves to cook, family oriented, single, you know the whole package. So we talk the next day, and we planned to go out dancing for saturday. Unfornately, that saturday i had to pick up my sister from Her college about 500 miles away and didnt have roaming on my cell phone to make sure that i was going to make it back on time. In other words i flaked on her. I apoligized deeply the next day(by now she had already given me her home phone number). I also complimented her on how gorgeous she was and stuff like that. She replied with how amazed she was by me, that i still made a great impression from her and that that we'd go out again soon. Well, that weeked i couldnt, and the week after that we it was christmas so i spent i with my family and she with hers. I havent been able to get a hold of her, i email her and she doesnt email me back, she not home, and i can never get ahold at work because she works in the retail industry and holidays are hell for them, and plus her father has been recently hospitalized. I dont know if im overreacting or if i really lost her. Im a good looking guy, so in the looks department theres not a problem. She has tried to call me on three occacions but i was not available to pick up my phone.

If i were to give myself advise it would be to pursue her to the fullest extent until i get a clear and definite no. But i dont know what do you guys think.

more info
- I met her in mid november
- she made long term plans with me for the next year, such as activities that we would attend together.
- i havent talked to her since dec 19
- i have called her 4 times after that with no luck
- she has not made an effort to contact me since dec 15
- but i still think that i can win her back, i just need to dj her for 10 minutes

whaddaya think?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Briefly the woman side the story looks like this:

"I met a great guy at the restuant. We really hit it off. Gave him my number. He rang and we organised to go out but he never showed. WTF? He called 3 of days later apologized, he had to pick up is sister from her college (WFT??). HE wasn't available to go out that weekend...." etc

Every fecking day this story is posted on this fourm. The same advice is given: NEXT them or treat them with suspicion. Do you now have a good idea what might now be in her head.

1) If you say you are going to do something. Do it.

2) Get new years out of the way before trying again.

If a woman is interested in you, and has your number, she will contact you. You have called 4 times without a call back? If this woman is sexually attractive, rest assured that there is another rooster in the henhouse.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

ok

Well fellas, when pursuing a woman i really want, i just go for it. That is until i get an explicit no from her. In this case i called her up, finally i got a hold of her and arranged another date with her on new years. If i would have gave up so easily then guess what? nothin' for me. But i put the rules aside and went for it.

Yes she is attactive, and yes she can probably get a better looking guy than me. But I have the drive that many men lack and she knows it, and i will probably end up having sex with her just because i didnt care if she was not interested at the time.

Sure, she might not be interested at the end, but hey it happens. But at least something happened rather than nothing..

Dude, WTF? One little slipup isn't flaking out. Never apologize deeply, or shower them with compliments, especially about their appearance. If you must compliment something, compliment her intelligence, personality, esthetic taste, etc. Sparingly.

Apologize in proper measure: the apology should be about an 75% of the effort that the average lame person would think it should be.

She has tried to call me on three occacions but i was not available to pick up my phone.
So shouldn't she be worried whether you are still interested?

Being unavailable a little bit isn't a bad thing.

Why didn't you get back to her? It's okay to get back to women if they call you and aren't able to reach you. Wait a day.

She did make three unsuccessful calls. Do you want her to crawl on her hands and knees or what?

Re: ok

Good job Social DJ. I like you dont like to give up.

This board doesn't really good advice on damage control. They always tell you to next or forget it.

It's good to see some persistent works.

I am in a similar boat with a girl I was supposed to meet. I missed her call and thus missed the meetup with her. She is an extremely busy girl (a resident at a hospital), so I screwed up

I tried to get ahold of her to apologize and didn't hear anything until today, when I got an email from her.

I am going to try again with her. She is really a hot, dynamic girl. I can't give up so soon. She used to call me, but now she's pissed because it looked like I flaked on her.

What works with great success for me is that i focus alot of attention on the initiation, and yes i shower the girl with compliments. Just until shes about to get used to it, i pull the carpet out from underneath from her. Dont call her, or even compliment her anymore. What usually happens is that she come back looking for the sweetness and attention once recieved. But it is no where to be found, and that is when the tables turn my friends.

But in regards with this girl i really like her so as long as she happy and so am i, there is no reason to stop the romance fest.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
