I haven't seen it but just wondering.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Hahaha! That is so true man! I have a friend that is actually in the street racing scene, and he said all the fast and furious movies do not portray real street racing the way it really is. And after those movies, a ton of kids in their little cars suddenly want to street race.Derek Flint said:It'll be more entertaining hanging around in the parking lot after the movie and watching all the dumb azz ricers wreck their clown cars while trying to emulate the action in the movie.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
Yea, the drifting around the chick's car was mean. I was in love with the black and orange rx7 and the v8 right at the end.Infact, it had the best number close I've ever seen
haha, funny you say that. I saw this fricking exotic looking HB9 ( brunette, green eyes, east euro looks, perfect tan, fine ass... ) walk out of the movie with her bf. As soon as me and my mates saw her, our jaws hit the floor. The guy who was African, pretty tall, drove this silver R33 shape skyline sedan with chromes ( a bit disappointing ).I wouldn't recommend this as a date movie. There are scenes where girls show their panties and where chicks are making out (unless your girlfriend is alright with watching that sort of thing). It's not a movie your date will appreciate much.. lol It's as it looks.. a guy movie.
ShizamDaMan said:Yeah the cars in the movies are just riced out with little if anything done under the hood. They stick these whistlers in the tailpipes of cars to simulate turbo spooling, so they don't have to spend $$$$$ on turbo kits.
fair enuf, not all girls are the same.I could tell the girl I was with didn't really appreciate those parts much.
I just loved the part when he starts his car up and the sound of that thing...Haha, in the beginning when he races a rich kid from school with the hot cheerleader girlfriend
