"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Hello SoSuave, this is my forst post here and I would like to present you with a problem I've recently had.

So I became interested in this girl when a very good friend of mine mentioned she was really intelligent. I quickly became interested, but forgot about her for a few months. Lately, I've tried to contact her, and she quickly replied. I contacted her without any picture or details as to who I am or how I look, but she wasn't faltered by my lack of details, apparently, and quickly told me to give her a sign, should I come into her city, so we can discuss about what she does.

Now, she's a very busy and extremely popular girl, and she's good looking too. She's full of friend and she's constantly being messaged. I did not assess my chances before going in. Also, she's in a relationship.

We finally got to meet and I challenged her for a game beforehand. If she performed well in a contest, I'd buy her a beer she's never tried before, and if she didn't, I wouldn't. Of course, the next time we met she was supposed to buy me something I've never tried before.

While we were talking, and we did a lot of talking, she really seemed interested in me, playing with her hair, constant eye contact, smiling with her teeth visible, laughing at bad jokes, feet crossed, facing me, all that. After all that, she never mentioned ANYTHING about a boyfriend, just a best friend and friends. After we showed each other where we live, and had a fun time, I told her to hit me up if she wants to hang out again.

Since then, I contacted her two more times. Once, telling her I had a great time and we should hang out more if we're neighbors, to which she replied of "yes, yes :) of course :D. have a great week!" and another time when I just talked to her about her job and she used really short answers, repeating what I said, and then she turned me down rather quickly, telling me she had to take a bath.

That was yesterday evening. I've decided to not contact her anymore, maybe even unfriend her. I can give many more details if you need.

So , what do you think, bros? What should I do next?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

So what now? Should I unfriend without saying anything? She really seemed interested at first

Uhh, just not care at all. Simply stop caring. Why unfriend her? Just leave it, and not say anything more.

Go work other girls. This problem can very simply be solved by finding girls more interested.

I have to take a bath = I would rather make up some lame excuse about bathing versus doing anything with you

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

^ To be fair, she did go Idle (as shown on Facebook chat) for a couple of hours. I don't know, I would unfriend her because that's what I do to people I no longer communicate with. I like keeping my friends list as short and personal as possible :)
