"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Long story short, blondie calls me to meet and being myself not that interested into having conversation with girls, invite her to go to the club so I can have a more rapid escalation.

We go there and start having many heavy alchool drinks except the first beer which was just a warming up, Im already sexually aggressive myself and alchool doesnt help so my escalation starts, fine with the touching on arms and tights while facing some resistance for the kiss, which I pass my holding her head till she no more rebels.

We keep dancing and then I believe my escalation gets too hard, touch her ass and boobs and she gently push me away, at gut level I realized that there was something wrong, even when they push you away u can tell if they do because they dont want it or because they dont wanna look like slvts....my gut told me was the first case but just to be sure I keep going.

At some point I have the confirmation since she gets far from me and tells me she want to get some free sample of drinks so she starts speaking with the guys staying in the perimeter of the dance floor and ask them for a sip of their drinks.

Then time after time she spends more and more time with girls while taking more and more time to come dance with me, at that point I got the message and told her I was leaving, she simply says that its ok.

So I accept game over in that scenario and leave, fall asleep at my place right after, then the following morning I see all the messages where she complains that I left her alone....the most I managed to reply while still half asleep was Yippie kae ye b1tch with a ":D" (from movie die hard).

Did I make the right move to leave after getting those signals or should have I stayed and tried more on her?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ha the die hard line made me laugh but I wouldn't have done it. Anyway, nice job telling her you are leaving - but if she was interested she would have said "no don't go" or followed you out the door.

After those complaining texts, I agree with drift king I just would not have responded.
