"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

So I was reading something from a newsletter I got a while ago, and came across this:

Fruit Smoothie - It's simple, and it's the easiest, quickest and tastiest way to pack heaps of healthy food into your body. Invest in a blender. Due to current processing methods, it is estimated that a piece of fruit consumed today has only 10-20 PERCENT of the nutritional value it did only 50 years ago! That means that we need to consume a great deal more of organic, healthy fruits and vegetables. This morning, I tossed in grapes, pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, banana, mango, and yogurt; it was absolutely delicious, and it set me straight the whole day. Add protein powder as desired.
Ever since reading that I've been interested in buying a blender.

I was wondering if anyone on this forum uses a blender and how have their experiences been?

There seems to be so many positives:
-Nutrition (you can't have too much fruit & vegetables!)
-Energy
-Taste
-Even a good way to add some protein!

Since I train like an athlete (more so than a weightlifter), I was wondering if anyone had some sick athletic smoothies one can make. I imagine the first thing needed is banana for potassium obviously. Maybe some carrots too. Anyone have a sick recipe?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Get a cheap $20 handheld mixer/chopper (either comes with a drinking/measuring cup or can fit into a large smoothie cup).

The basic smoothie seems to contain a base of:
  • Fruit/vegetable juice
  • Whey protein
  • Fresh/frozen fruit and/or vegetables
You can also add (based on your needs)
  • Milk
  • Bananas
  • Flax seed oil
  • Mega green powder
  • Creatine
You should be able to mix one up in a minute or two. I'm a cyclist and I drink this every morning and before rides (25-75 miles).

try this:
* 2 scoops of whey
* 1 cup brocolli
* 1 tomato
* 1 carrot
* 1 apple
* 2 tablespoon olive oil
* 1 tablespoon Flax seed

If you need more calories, add more olive oil (anabolic diet style) or add oats/milk (high carbs style).

make a steak smoothie, with whey protein powder and a scoop of peanut butter

just know that if you're goign to make a smoothie, don't expect it to taste like jamba juice, because they throw a lot of junk into their smoothies. jamba is very high in carbs and sugars

If you want to make it tast like one of those just add Sunny Delight to the mix. It'll have the taste along with the high carbs and sugars, why else would it taste so good?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

my friend works at jamba and she tells me that the Orange Dream Machine has NO fruit in it at all

strawberry's wild has two strawberrys and a banana (i say wtf TWO STRABERRYS? lolol she then clarifies that it was two scoops of strawberries)

she also says making the 100% fruit smoothies are a pain in the ass

Nice replies guys... I'm going to look into buying a blender or a chopper so I can start this.

It seems like everyone has their own personal formula or recipe which is cool. I am going to at least try to figure two smoothie formulas for myself. One for general health and one for pre-game/pre-training ritual.

Kev, thanks to you, I'm going to avoid jamba juice for now on :D

I was wondering, for you people who routinely take shakes/smoothies. Do you actually notice a drop of performance when you don't take it. Has it become like a ritual to you?

You should definitely get a blender, I make shakes everyday and it's both delicious and healthy and does not take very long to make at all.

Mine has:
Strawberries
1 Banana
Apple Sauce
Ice Cream
1 Cup of Whey Protein
Milk

Yum :)

Man, smoothies are the way to go!!

I would be making them all the time if it wasn't for the fact that I'm so lazy to clean the blender afterwards lol.

I have old one made by Braun, it's a bit more expensive and it's seldom on sale. The Cuisinart would do the job for less.

I just have a standard blender, and this...

http://www.oster.com/images/products/Oster/products/006848-000-950.jpg

Cleaning is super easy and simple. One good trick is to put fruit like strawberry's, banana's etc. in the fridge...that way they're ice cold and your mixed drink tastes even better! Adding ice cream is also nice to add thickness and some major calories if you're looking to gain weight.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
