"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

The best way in the world to get yourself rid of all that negativity that flows in your body is just to SMILE!

You're alone in your room. You're depressed. You feel like listening to sad music and cry because no one likes you. You're doing everything to make the situation worse.

The answer is not anti-depressants or alcohol. It's just a simple thing... a smile.

Even if you're not in the mood, even if you feel down, just force those lips and cheek and SMILE. Keep it on. You'll get tired, but it doesn't matter... you have to force that smile and let it merge with your face so that it stays there for hours.

When you smile, somehow, your way of thinking changes. It's almost magical, in fact. If you are used to smiling all the time, you will feel lighter, like if a huge burden has fallen from your shoulders. Things that usually bother you and embarass you may start appearing meaningless.

Get used to smiling. When you are by yourself, never let that smile off your face. It sounds stupid at first, but you have to get used to it until it becomes natural.

Believe me, this helps your attitude a lot. If you convince yourself that you are happy with your life and with what you have, your power to attract others will be completely different than if you show them that you are sad and that you need them for you.

Come on, smile! :D :D :D

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

qwere is spot on though. It does work. If you have that sophisitcated demeanour about you, it can really help make you more approachable.

It's the common defacto between all people in that if you smile, you're at ease with the situation.

Yes of course. But my point was that smiling can be used to make yourself FEEL better. Whenever I'm alone, by myself, I'm always smiling. It doesn't matter if it had just been the worst freaking day of my life. I just smile.

It alleviates the pain. It makes things seem meaningless. After a while, it becomes natural and you get a beautiful feeling of "emptiness" or "vacuity," which is the most pleasing and refreshing thing you can experience.

Smiling DOES have an effect on your mind. It makes you more comfortable with yourself. When you are used to it, smiling becomes natural. When you are talking with someone with that attitude, you convey the "feeling," the "atmosphere" of happiness and satisfaction. Of course smiling like a clown every time when you're with someone makes you look awkward. The point is not to smile to get others to see you smiling, but to smile to make yourself feel better. The better you feel, the more attractive you are.
