"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Small Town Girls: So Hard To Figure Out!

I sometimes visit my friends who live in a smaller town than I do. A really small town. I may actually be relocating there based upon my job situation in the near future. When I try to game girls in the small town, I can't read girl's IOI's properly.

A common reaction for a girl when I start talking to her is for her to just stare at me. Her eyes grow wider and wider and wider. Her mouth opens bigger and bigger and bigger. If I try to sustain any small talk, the girl's eyes and mouth open so wide, it's like looking at three big gaping holes in a bowling ball. I think these girls just freeze up if a guy tries to pick up on them. Most guys who live around here are pretty afc.

Anyone who lives in a small town have experiences or strategies to share?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hah, thats funny. You should tell them that if they do it (in a ****y-funny way).

I am trying to figure this out as well. I have a suspiscion that small town girls are used to "arranged marriages" of a kind, where a guy from a good family marries a girl from a good family, etc. Just throwing that out there. let me know if you come up with any ideas.

Golden thread about that exact problem:

http://www.sosuave.net/forum/showthread.php?t=85237

Ah, here's his conclusion:

Essentially what I'm learning is that successful guys around here don't do anything special: instead, they simply grow up here and get to know a girl from an early age, or they meet at a party, get drunk, then hook up. Or, they meet through mutual friends, and hook up at some point in the future. They talk about mundane things: local sports teams, a class they're taking blah blah blah. That's it. I'm locked out of those social circles since I've only been here a few weeks, and obviously don't have the patience to wait years or decades for the requisite comfort level to kick in!

Oh, and here's another situation I find odd in small towns. Sometimes, girls will see me walking down the street or as I walk into a store, and they will just stop walking. Seriously, they will literally freeze right in their tracks and just stare at me. They have that same glazed over expression in their eyes I described in my first post. Their eyes get really really wide and their mouths just hang open. What is wrong with these girls?!?

Sometimes, I'll get these reactions and just want to go and hide or check how I look in the mirror. These girls are strange, man.

hahaha... this is funny. I live in Phoenix AZ and often used to visit the white mtns here, like showlow area. Small Town. And yes, the girls were WEIRD... Very weird. actually all the people there are weird (or maybe the word isnt weird but Different)

...However I dont believe in the above theory of having to belong in their social structures.
yes they are shut off from outside sources and are comfertable to the friends and guys she knows.
But all girls love new and exciting things.. especially "the big city".. If your visiting from a bigger city, trust me they are gonna be in awe of you, probably why the eyes bulging and jaw dropping (from appearance alone they could probably tell you were diffrent and modern).

but you gotta watch out for the small towns.. since they are all so bored most girls are big time on drugs and ****ing every guy usually getting pregnant early on. And if not that route then they probably got married at 18 and arent available anymore. So yeah, they are weird.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

You might be right, dude. When I talk to these girls, they'll sometimes say: 'you're not from here...' or 'around here things are different...' Since I've just started talking to them, these types of statements imply that they already know I am from 'out of town.'

Stop focusing on IOI's so much. There's a piece of advice you can take with you ANYWHERE.

As a man, you're not LOOKING for IOI's!

You are, but you shouldn't be so focused on deciding if she is displaying interest that you fail to act.

You're FIRST priority with a girl, whether she be a small town girl or a big city girl, is to ACT. You ask her out. You make a move, and then you take her out and you show her a good time because that's what you do! It's who you are! Your world consists of fun and you know how to have fun.

Forget about the IOI's and just act and you'll meet with more success.

I grew up in a very small town. The key to fitting in as an outsider is to get involved in community activities. It's really pretty simple. If you show people that you are trying to embrace the local community and way of life they are very open and willing to embrace you.

Be warned, though...everyone will know your business in a small town...so you can't get away with being a player. Your best bet is taking your time to find one single girl you like best and date her. If you live in a small town the expectation is that you will pair up and settle down. If that's not what you're looking for then you are going to have to leave the area to date. The first time you "play" a woman the entire town will know and you will be labelled "the guy to avoid" and your dating pool will dry up faster than the Sahara Desert. :)

Gaping holes? Sounds dirty

Try to get the girl engaged. "where'd you get the shirt?" "nice arse" "is that your perfume I'm smelling" "whoa, nice hair" "haha I love the shoes" and the never dead, overused, "so whats up"

Build up steam and plow through towards better IOIs. Kino ping them, tap their shoulder, see if you can build up to elbow on shoulder after few minutes(you did say party right?).

Also don't forget to smile!!!!

Small town of 2000 if thats small enough for you. I get to meet all kinds of shut in girls. Girls that only go out to buy food. Single mothers who are down for abortions. Hotties who are self conscious of their bodies and the attention they get when they go out. Home school chicks, and fundraiser chicks. I've only run into your problem once or twice, when I was new. Since than I've always pushed a girl to at least giggle once or twice, talking to her and getting only a bowling ball look doesn't mean IOI, its not an IOD, its an indication of nothing, its an ION. Don't go for IONs go for a solid SALT, sweet ass long talk. Get the digits, and call em up, small town girls love the phone.

I grew up in a small town and I am getting the **** away from there. I live in the Bible Belt in a small town when I'm not at college and the girls there aren't what I'm loking for, if I stayed there I'd probably never get married. Plus I'm an atheist in a town that's 99 % Christian and I really don't have much in common with people there, I have nowhere to play death metal music here, no one's into death or black metal here but me, I feel like an outsider, but that's why I'm moving to somewhere like Tampa in 3 years.
It's a small town of 2000 as well. Living at college is better, a lot of more liberal type people there more openness about things.

“The 22 Psychological Triggers That Make Women Chase You… Starting Tonight”

Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.

Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules.  Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.

small town girls actually seem really easy for me, all you do is show a lil straightforward interest. Being different is key for me. They see different big city life as interesting and wanna know more about it, keep showing an interest lightly flirting and it's a cakewalk. they don't have many options in small towns and all the guys there are boring. nothing much to do there so they drink and f***.
