I was always the shy and timid type, but the last few years, after reading this site, I became the opposite. ****y and funny all the time with a few successes. I realize how stupid I was though. I would always tease women playfully, but I would always over-do it, and that would not make them think I was interested, but instead that I was an @$$hole, which I was. So just be confident and playful around women, ****y and funny ruined my game almost as much as not talking to girls at all like I was before.

I think the key is you have to let them know that you're joking. If you keep on making fun of them, even if you tell them you're joking, they're not going to see it that way. You have to mix it in with being nice and you have to show some interest. Always keep in mind that it should be a fun encounter for both parties.
I can only say i share the same experience; to the extent of calling a girl fat once ! (in a really horrible way)
Looking back i think C+F was taken as a magic button, a secret formula for those who are desperate to get any type of good reaction out of any woman or any person and the understanding of C+F itself was make fun of something bad or good ---> they'll get wet

That's the part that most people turn a blind eye to; that jokes and stories are best when they reflect something actually there
And C+F is a way of representation, it's not something magical or even special...just funny and if you don't think whatever C+F joke is funny then 9/10 saying it won't be funny (as in YOU saying it)
An example of what others might call C+F that i do is when i made a new look (new sideburn style or when i had a small beard just on my chin) i would sometimes joke with girls about how they can't resist me coz of it or how sexy i am coz i gots ze sideburns *BLING !!!*

C&F was brought us by David Deangelo, just another know it all guru salesman. Most of the strategies and ebooks are mostly hype, and people are beginning to catch on. Hell, all these "gurus" dont even use their real names. Yes, David Deangelo is a made up name! Loser.
Anyhow, you need to create a balance with being confident and nice. DD overdoes it in his books, he says something like 70% ****y, 30% funny. This is bad advice. you definitely need to go easy on the ****y. I wouldnt even call it ****y, i would say confidence, and use it more like 40%, the rest funny, nice, etc
