Met a chick from Bavaria in the city center yesterday evening. Approach was good.
"Hi. Where are you from? I'm from bla bla bla. I'm just gonna get a beer can you hold this spot for me?"
So, I go, I get my beer. I get some cigs, and I join and talk to her and her friend for a while. Maybe an hour or so. I recommended she come visit my neighbourhood the next day because it's better. Asked for the number. Declined. No problem. Talked for another half hour or so. All the while her blonde friend was giving me slightly more difficult vibes, even though I did talk to her for a quick little 5 minutes as the brunette was getting a drink. She was a bit more skeptical towards me. The game was alright though. Just couldn't get her over the edge. So I was in the "neutral" or "doubtful" zone with her the whole time.
So I'm thinking to myself towards the end 'Man I really dig german chicks. I guess it's cuz I am german too. I think to myself, my body language is slightly turned towards the brunette a bit much, and she's not quite reciprocating, talking to her blonde friend.' So I cross my arms and straighten out a bit.
The brunette turns towards me like: "We are going to walk around the city for a while but first we're going to the bathroom. In the mean time you can think about if you want to join". And let me iterate that when she turned towards me I was getting slight make-out vibes. Her body language was then squared towards mine and the eye-contact was strong too.
This is where I sort of comply too quickly. I look at my glass of beer, think for a split second, and before asking them to wait for me to finish it, I just reply: "Alright I'll join".
I could immediately feel that I had sort of fvcked it up there. If only slightly. I don't think it would have mattered to the brunette much. But the blonde was really critical the whole time. So they go to the bathroom, come back, and I get to hear: "We just decided to go striaght to the hotel". Nothing I can do, so I said: "As you wish. You are the ladies. Or the tourists. So good night".
Too bad. Woke up this morning sort of feeling bad already, because the brunette was pretty damn cool man. It's interesting meeting german chicks in Amsterdam as the cultures are similar but also slightly different, just like the languages. Ya so it was fun.
Come to think of it, it seems the brunette pre-neutralized the problem for me the way she offered for me to join: "You can sit here and think whether you want to join". I could have just sat and waited for them, then agreed to join. But since I immediately agreed I came across as too easy, turned off the blonde, and gave the blonde a reason to complain and say lets go. If I didn't do that then it would have been rude for them to go: "Well you sat here and thought about joining. Now that you decided to join the offer no longer stands. Sorry we're going after all".
Anybody here who can offer some insight or possibly a similar story?
