Hi people. Ok there's this girl working at a service desk at school whose number I'd like to get. Now the thing is that there's always two people at the desk, either she with a guy or girl, so I'm having some "isolation" problems. I also don't have a friend to go ask some question to the other person there while I go talk to the girl. What do you think the best way to proceed would be?

Do you ever see her anywhere else? If not, the only thing I can think of is to just go ahead and get her number with somebody there. I've tried this before and usually got shot down but if it's your only option, it's worth a try.

just do what you gotta do. do you know where she goes for lunch? try to catch her when she's not actually at the desk, but if that's your only option, just go ahead and ask.
