Im over 35, divorced with an FB.
quite happy with that, so is she. Im happy being single, love my own space, if anyone every asked me why I was single, ID simply tell them that is not really any of their business unless they were prepared to enter a a very personal mutual Q & A session, if not, shut the f cuck up.
i dont like the restraints of a raltionship, the expectation to behave and act in certain ways, selfish? maybe but Ive got kids and a life as well, also I can look after myself, a realtionship 'gets in the way'.
I dont care who the questioner is but if they press, they better be prepared for some home truths

I think the "single" state is not attractive, if you take it literally.

"Legally single" is something different entirely.

But, really, why would anyone be truly single?

We are quick to make the observation: Married men are attractive, why?

Because they have at least been "chosen" once.

Single (having no partners or plates in this context) has the opposite effect.

Question that springs to mind is "What's wrong with you?"

George Clooney wouldn't be in this definition. Betheman neither, in my opinion. The article seems to miss that point.

It's like asking, why are betas hated? Because they are betas.

In short, nobody would call a guy who takes different girls to a dinner party "a male spinster" as the article is implying.

They would call him a "player, catch, womanizer," etc... all of which have much more positive connotations.
