"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I've seen many posts about single mom's lately... As a single dad (50%) of the time, I don't see all single moms as non-ltr material. I do agree that some aren't worth the trouble.

It's a strange place... Family man / dad one week, then switch into poon-hunting dj mode the next, but somehow it works well for me.

Any other single-dads? I've noticed its more difficult to work the younger single woman with no kids because of my situation, but not impossible.

Anyone else have similar situation? Insights?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I'm still fresh/new to the self improvement DJ journey, and I have a 2yr old 50% of the time. I'm still dealing with the I'm a 50% single parent thing as a whole, but can relate.

I have not found it very natural to bring up the fact I have a kid in conversations with women that do not know that detail yet, but I'll get there as my game matures. It really feels like my "game" mode is a different person then my "dad" mode.

I have not had any true "success" yet with any women, but mostly due to my lack of escalating (AFC tendencies). Its interesting that two of my current prospects have had LTRs with single dads in the recent past. One is mid-late 20s, other is early 20s. As someone else pointed out to me, long as you are still "viable" financially you have chances with most of them.

I think personally it depends on what they want. If they just want to have 'fun' then they won't care. If they are looking for LTR, they might not care if they know you are a good parent. Seems win-win to me.

I've made a few rules for myself.
1. Kid is always priority over dates.
2. Women will not get to meet my kid unless they are LTR.
3. I will not put my life on hold cause I have a kid. I will date during the other 50% time.

It's easy to date, just hard to find one I'd want to bother with. I have 2 sons, don't need more kids etc. just go out on the weekends I don't have them. Since they drive, they've met some of the women I date just by showing up on the days I don't have them[even came over during the act once-door was closed and they knew better than open it]

I have been a single for over five months, and I do find dating more challenging. I have my two young children from Thursday through Monday. I am going to give online dating a shot to expand where I can meet women. Anyway, I am not in hurry to find another woman as I am really enjoying the freedom to be single again.

The biggest problem I am having right now is finding time to keep things rolling with different prospects.

I have limited time each week to actually do any real dating. I've exploded my freetime with volleyball, and while that is keeping me more then entertained, but leaving me with 1-2 days a week where I can "date" when I don't have parental duties. Add in working out, getting 8 hrs of sleep, and other life to do's, I'm finding my time is actually quite valuable.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

That's identical to the situation I'm in. I'm a SD 50% of the time, and my child-free days are NOT prime nights to go out sarging. All the good nights to go out are spent with my kid.

As for bringing up the fact that I have a kid, I found it works better to raise her IL first, then bring up the fact that you're a dad. If her IL is high, she won't give a damn that you have a kid. If her IL is medium to low, it can be the deal-breaker.

The main woman I'm dating it completely child-less. I almost feel guilty for dating women who have no kids because they could easily have that opportunity with someone else. I've had a vasectomy and I don't want more kids.

If she's got one kid (maybe two), that's fine. If she's got 3 or more kids, that's a deal-breaker. I'm not going to rent a school bus just to take everyone to the fvcking zoo.
