You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

It would take a miracle for me to even spend any amount on a first date...unless we're talking alcohol, where she pays for the first round and I pay for the second round; or in terms of food, in which I'll pay my part and she pays her half. Once I'm nailing her, then I don't mind paying sometimes. But if I pay sometimes, that also means she must pay sometimes too. It all must even out, or get close to it.
