I know like a lot of people I don't want to pay for a gym or a contraption of any type...I want to just be able to workout at home, not having to pay for a single contraption, membership, or piece of equipment. Now, is there a way to tone muscle using your own body? For instance, is there a series of exercises (push-ups-, sit-ups-, crunches-like) that one can do and get even close to a weighted workout? Being able to touch all of those muscle groups without ever having to touch a weight or machine but by using ones own body weight, mass, etc. to get the job done? I know you can lose weight just by doing cardio, but that also takes down muscle mass...I'm talking being able to keep muscles building or at least maintained just via a workout using your own body...just curious. Any replies would be helpful.
