After reading alot of posts on this board, and especially the DJ bible, I have some observations eventually leading to a crucial point.

The tips posts are excellent technical references, and yes, most of them work. But each post is personal, not universal. Which is to say that it is YOU that makes the pickup, not the technique, I have a feeling that alot of info-seekers become the advice as apposed to becoming themselves.

Also, the general vibe is that being a DJ is a learned process..... Ultimately I believe that you are a DJ when you have become a man. When you step out of adolescence and into the world that you create. I really don't believe that this created world is not guaged by your abillity to attract women. Or even keep a women for that matter. Now just when you thought that this post couldnt get any deeper, (or cornier, which ever you prefer :0 ) Does anyone see the similarity between what people are asking/saying/responding and the Men's movement?

Yes, the Men's movement. Sounds weird, but you could say that I have just discovered it. The men's movement to me at least, looks like one of the more positive aspects of society that I could seriously respond and relate to.

Im not going to get into the details, since I'm not here to preach it. But if self improvement is high on your list - it can't hurt you to investigate.

A good way to start is going to your library and reading some of Warren Ferrell's books. Very in depth information, with visuals that will really make you think. Warren Ferrell is an experienced author who originally was active in the feminist movent, but now writes books on behalf of men. His experience definately shows in his writings. Check it out. Its a mind opener. And if you use it correctly, it can be one of the best tips you'l ever use.

(and no, im not getting royalties for mentioning this)

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
