Fellas, in general what are some signs that a woman gives out to show she is interested in a man and all? For example, theres this girl in class and last week(on V-Day) I bumped into her somewhere and while in line I wuz chattin with her and throwin in sum C+F and everything, she wuz smilin/laughin the whole way. Since then in class i been avoiding to her to see what she'll do. So far she sat next to me today and then when the class was walking she was standin next to me, but she did not say anything.. Fellas what should I do in this situation to get the number? Asking the number for hw is out of the question since there is really none in this class and there really is no studying in this class..

So far you have conjured in her mind a good image of yourself. You don't want to ruin it by acting like a wuss. Keep the posture that you maintained during your C&F encounters. You also gotta act fast before she loses interest. Propose an invitation to a particular place (cinema, concert, coffee, pub, night club) at a particular time. I stress particular because you do not want to be brainstorming after it is agreed upon that you and her are going out. You also must convey the offer in a manner that says that she is missing out by not going and that you got alternate plans. If she says YES, then naturally she would give out her number because how else would you two meet up.

I know what u mean but remember semester does not end till like beginning of June. If we go out and things happen, word will end up goin round class, and I dont want the whole world knowing my business and all... any other alternatives u guys have?

seems like you're not taking our advice. get the f outta here and do it on your own.
Take the number... it will atleast show that you are interested and you can go out for coffee or something. Find out if she is worth knowing. It is very rare that a girl will keep on showing interest if you don't show any. Don't worry about what others will think, most probably they are thinking that you are good friends. It would be different if they saw you guys toungin each other. Many ppl don't care about who is going out with who if you are in college. If you are in high school then you will be the envy of guys who want to get in her pants... Remember not to sound/look like you might be or become clingly...

I don't think a stand off was the right way to go in this situation. If she sits next to you, it's a perfect reason/opportunity to talk to her. Why would you pass on it?

It is time for you to decide if this girl is worth pursuing or not. Ask yourself if she is good enough for you. If you detest being seen with her in public, then forget about her even though she has the likes for you. In the end, you only do what you want to do.
