you see it everywhere, on dating sites, pua forums, every article about approaching women, in real life, everywhere, yet it is usually those who are not good looking, that say that looks don't matter, very similar when poor people say that money don't matter lol, you never see good looking people saying that looks don't matter, and the few that do, are obviously hypocrites, they know looks matter, yet claim they don't to come off as humble and good hearted to the rest of people
most people in this society are under the idea or misconception that personality will always be greater than appearance, in an ideal society that would be true but we are imperfect human beings living in an imperfect world, so is not true, we are not that ideal society where personality is greater than appearance, there is a reason why the phrase "never judge a book by its cover" exist, because we as humans have the tendency to judge books by their cover. I wish we lived in a world where looks didn't matter, but we live in a world where looks matter.
is frustrating because we always want to lie to ourselves, no appearances don't matter, personality is what matters .. i''m just so sick on hearing people lying to themselves, make themselves feel better about being human
I think we as humans KNOW that appearances matter, we know it as a general fact, but we try to sort of blind ourselves to that truth, because that truth would make humans seem less perfect than they really are, so what we try to do is brush that through the side
we try to make ourselves seem better and more good hearted than we actually are for our own sake
is kinda screwed-up and paradoxical, we need to stop lying to ourselves, we human beings will always value appearance more than we value inner beauty and inner personality
