I just did them for the first time last night.

Any long term damage involved? I did a search on them and found a post about how they acually improve some guy's game as a major confidence boost. I tripped balls last night from 6 probably 1 inch heads, and I did it with this chick and we were tripping so bad I couldn't even throw game on her.

I love watching people on shrooms. There so stupid.

They take some of the whatchamacallits in your brain and flip them so they change or something.... I forgot how it works. ANyway what happens is your receptors or whatever talk to other receptors. THE BAD PART IS. Once your receptors are changed they don't change back....This can cuase flash backs... Not always but later in life you could suddenly flash back to your trip.

One time a girl on shrooms was sitting in a chair upsidedown and she started screaming cause she thought she was stuck...

Flashbacks and acting like an idiot are the only side effect I know... But If you eat an 1/8th I hear you live longer if you survive. Don't believe me...... Just try it. nothing bad will happen........ Though If you do die... I'm not at fault k.Have a nice day

one of the effects of mushrooms is that it makes you more sensitive, but effects vary from person to person.

Thats becuase most of the time when people have a flashback it's not front page news. there a lot less common then Lsd flahsbacks.

Acid and Shrooms are different but they both do cause flashbacks.

yes psilocybin which is the hallicinogenic substance in mushrooms could cause flashbaks....but the most common to cause them is LSD and is actually rare to get flashbacks from acid, and even more rare in your first times....after about 15 trips is more likley youll get them....and if you do they might only last a couple of weeks, as opposed to what other ppl say that they WILL last your whole entire life, and it could happen but is extremly rare(so rare that they dont even bother on doing any reasearch on why it happens)...

so if is rare with acid, theres like 1 in 1 billon chance to get flashbacks from mushrooms. and if you do end up being unlucky to get them, they wont last long...

I've heard that doing too much acid in a short period of time (say, dropping a lot of acid multiple times in one week) can actually cause you to trip for a long time. Like, long enough to make you go legally insane for months on end.

Don't know if I should believe it or not.

I've heard some crazy **** though. One of my friends who did acid said he was in his room, just listening to music and stuff, tripping, when he looked out the window into his backyard, and saw himself standing in the yard, staring back up at the window. How ****ed up is that ****.

Also, a friend told me that there was this one pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates who claimed to throw a no-hitter while on acid in 1987. I think it's bs. But it's some kinda urban legend or something.

If you really wanna trip I prefer cough syrup. Dextrometorphan or whatever. Get that as the only acitve ingrediant.... I enjoy cough syrup though... so whatever... Have you ever had thouse fudge covered shrooms? I hear they taste a lot better...

You didn't say which mushrooms you did so I assume psilocybe. There's probably very little short or long term damage. This page has more info on magic mushrooms:

Personally, I think there are much better ways of gaining confidence, like loosening up (Zen buddhism works for me) . It's always a good idea to research before you do drugs. Some of them are pretty safe, some are dangerous.

Mushrooms happen to be on the safe side, as are LSD and cannabis, although all of these can trigger psychoses in susceptible (read: mentally not well) people. If you are merely unprepared for the effects you can get a bad trip or a panic attack. It depends. If you find yourself getting paranoid just remember that the effects will wear off and you will be fine.

About flashbacks: The best explanation I've heard is that these are normal mental phenomena, like very vivid memories. While tripping you can experience intense sensations and it's entirely normal to think about them later.
