Master Don Juan
Highschool - Often a transition point for many young boys to become young men. So, who here thinks they're a man now? Lets take a show of hands - AND - this will be a good way for us to tell some of our "best" stories.
Basically - Give us one good reason why you think you're a man. Something BIG you've done in your life that's truely made a big enough impact on you to think to yourself "Wow, I'm not a kid anymore." I'm talking about something a little more than the standard "Sex with Girl = Manhood" thing, because I know a few people who've been bonin since they were 14 but are some of the most immature dorks around. I'm talking about something that may have changed your life as a whole!
I suppose its only fair that I kick this off - Here's a little story not many people no about me. It was my turn to be the DD one night, and I was just about to give some buddies of mine a ride home because they were way too trashed to safely make the trip themselves. We were driving along, and being the dumb high school kids we were (at the time I was still in HS), some of my friends decided to keep drinking in the car.
We had open containers up the ass in my ride. As lady luck would have it, I managed to go about 5 MPH over the speed limit as we passed a cop, and in my town, 5 miles over is a deadly sin.
It takes the cop maybe a minute to whip around, turn on his lights, and be caught up to me. Needless to say, I was the only sober one in the car but I had about 4 VISUALLY drunk friends who would probably end up getting underages. I made the one move I never thought I would in this situation - I grabbed a half-empty beer from the guy sitting shotgun to me while everyone else hid their booze. I polished the rest of the beer off and put the can in my cup holder so it was in plain sight. The cop pulls us over, sees the can and I'm assuming could smell the fresh Coors Light on my breath so he tells me to get out of the car.
He gives me a sobriety test, which I ace because I wasn't drunk. Then he asks me to take a breathalizer, which I comply with and blow something like a .001 (that or .01, I forget). Anyway - I was below the legal limit and eventhough I was underage, it wasnt high enough to charge me with drinking (household cough syrup registers at .002 or so). He gives me a warning for the empty beer can and drives off; he didnt even check on my friends in the car.
The reason I chose this story was because, In my opinion, being a man means making decisions to do the right thing. I didnt want all my buddies to end up getting underages because I was the guy speeding. I took one for the team, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
