Should you smile a lot?

Recently, I´ve been noticing how other men behave in the presence of a women they like, since most have low standards and have crushes with 90% of women to whom they talk to, it´s easy to notice a pattern in their behaviour.

Many men, that are manly with their friends, look suddenly, the biggest losers when talking to women. And the most common thing I notice is smilling to much, they all do that.

There was a recent study, that showed women to be attracted more to pictures of men who looked serious, vs smiling. Many puas say you shouldn´t smile to often either, and I notice that many women respond pretty well when you dont´smile too much (you see with their smiles, dreamy eyes etc).

I think that when you smile, you are telling indirectly that you like her, or that you are in pickup mode, if you don´t, you´ll keep her guessing, and she will think that she still has to win you over...

Adjust your behavior to hers. As long as she's showing lots of IOI's and her behavior tells you she is totally into you, you can smile and laugh all you want. When you notice she's getting a bit colder/less interested/less enthusiastic etc. you have to turn your own enthusiasm down a notch. However, this encompasses much more than just the amount of smiling that you do, it's about the totality of your behavior.

Anyway, just play with it in the field, dude. Don't try to theoretically answer these questions, just try out different things in practice. Play around with your own behavior and see how the girls respond to it. And don't be afraid to fukk up, it's all practice. Perhaps you smile too much towards girl 1 and she loses interest...who cares, onto the next girl. Perhaps you smile too little towards girl 2 and she loses interest...who cares, onto the next girl. Perhaps you smile not too much and not too little but just about the right amount towards girl 3, mission accomplished! The first two were just practice, don't bother yourself with the fact you ''lost'' them. Through practice, you'll learn to read girls and how to adjust your own behavior accordingly. Naturally, it will require a certain amount of fukkups to get there... But once you get good at this, you'll never lose this skill and will forever benefit from it. At that point, the fukkups from the past will become irrelevant, they were just neccesary sacrifices and are nothing in comparison to the successes you will make in the future.

So don't be afraid to fukk up, all girls are expendable. Just play around with different behavior and see how girls respond to it, instead of reading 'recent studies on how women respond to pictures of smiling men' or observing other guys' behavior etc. Just go go go, get out there and practice your a$$ off. You can't get it all right from the start anyway, even if the greatest DJ's on earth told you exactly how to behave up front. Every girl is different, every situation is different, you need to develop the skill to read each specific girl and each specific situation and how to adjust your own behavior accordingly. You need to make that skill your own, and this is only possible through practice.

And remember: have fun through it all! Interacting with girls is a game, it's supposed to be fun! Don't take it all too serious, you have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain!

I say smile if you want to smile and don't smile if you don't want to smile.

Theres nothing wrong with smiling as long as its natural and not constantly struck on your face which would appear creepy.

Being too serious is just as bad as smiling too much. Ive had girls tell me several times that they thought I was stuck up, full of myself before knowing me cause I hardly smiled and seemed so serious at times.

Like everything else, balance is the key.

If you start to think about not smiling to much when being with a girl, I can almost guarantee you, it will be a disaster.

*What kind of man does not smile when he is happy? when he wants to smile?

*How cool is it to try to not act uncool? You idea is to try to be cool by observing uncool guys. How does observing them make you any cooler?

*It is not the smile itself that is the problem. The problem is that these guys you are watching are not confident, and they smile nervously. It doesn't mean smiling = lame. Be confident and smile, and you will have huge success.

*Smiling is a very important thing because it tells a woman that you are happy. Prove to the woman you are not a depressed person who need her to complete your happiness. Show her that you have happiness to share with her to complete her life. This is important. No one wants to date a sad person.

So conclusion is, have fun and smile when you feel like it.

I'd go with smile and laugh with your friends for girls to see you're a fun guy.

When talking I'd go with 'adjust your behavior to hers' as well. Make her feel like you're a fun guy but she's not entitled to a smile if she's behaving like a b!tch... Make her work a bit for things...

That study just consisted of showing pictures to women of men with different expressions on their faces. Then asking them to rate them. I thought the smiling guy pictures looked goofy myself.

I can't help but wonder if putting things in an actual social context changes things. Remember, it was just a picture of a guy smiling. But if a guy comes up to a girl, looks in her eyes, and smiles AT her...might that not have a different effect on her than just looking at a picture? Maybe she might start getting curious about him?

I assume, perhaps wrongly, that by you asking this question you are a touch socially awkward. Don't worry I am too. Game recognizes game and I kinda wonder the same type of little unimportant things too.

But I know this much. If you are trying to figure out how brooding to be it's probably not a good idea to be brooding. We aren't social chameleons blending into every situation perfectly and discreetly. We are social kudzu who invade social habitats and destroy it with out awkward ways. Brooding is tough to do if it's not a part of your personality. It's alot easier to be fun and outgoing, even awkwardly, than to be dark and appealing.

Smiling gets you alot further. It has for me anyway.
