"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Im supposed to meet this hb off facebook for a coffee on sunday ahe works in finance so always busy only offers weekends to meet (standard thing for women in banking) i said sunday 3 or 4pm she teexts back sounds good let's confirm sunday 1ish.

Should i reply ok? Or just leave it. I havent met her before remember but she seems non commital even though im a stranger. If she had met me already i would suspecy pre emptive flake.

She originally told me she was going for a bike race on sunday but text me today she was gona be near where i wanted to meet.

Should i reply ok (aand thereby accepting her pre emptive flake) or do i not reply and look butt hurt?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Leave it. Tell her that you should do it another time when she knows for sure she is free. This is a HUGE red flag for low interest, I really wouldn't waste my time.

Could be that she is insecure that *you* are gonna flake. I would reply "ok". The , if she confirms with you Sunday, go. If not, next.

This

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Im pretty sure it's not because she think im going to flake. I originally offered tues weds evening and she said she was travelling for work and suggested this weekend or next.

I said i would be free for a couple hours sunday afternoon she text me saying if she wasnt going to the bike race she'd let me know. Fast forward to today and her saying she'll be in the area i want to meet on sunday so i suggested 3-4pm and she said sounds good but wants to confirm at 1ish sun. She basically doesnt want to commit to meeting a stranger. I imagine she is meeting friends for a bbq etc and doesnt want to commit any of her small amount of free time on me as she hasnt met me yet.

Am i better off just ignoring and seeing if she confirms or just send back 'k'?

you should have called her at some point to chitchat a bit and build some rapport, cause SHE DOESNT KNOW YOU.

Of course she's going to flake, and of course she's just toying with you.
Had you called her, talked for a bit etc...her interest in meeting you could increased.

Man...you're still a newbie.

I think it doesnt really matter if you confirm or not, cause she's not meeting up with you.

one thing you should learn, you are busy only to things you don't care about, visiting a family member you don't like? i'm busy with work/date/I have something else this day, pretty much she have a extreme low IL on you.

she will flake, that is for sure, what I would do, don't talk with her till she confirm, if she do nothing, you don't to talk with her again, and if after she talks with you and say anything about it, you just say you just forgot about this sunday. then get busy with another female with is something you should be doing anyway

Most flakes happen because the chick doesn't know you that well before you ask her out. If you spent a little time talking before setting the date, the flakes would go down. Always set a date when you both have a free day.

Don't try to squeeze a date in between her other activities. That shows a lack of interest. Let her know that Sunday is not a good day and you can reschedule another day. Don't set another date until she contacts you. That's how you will determine her interest.
