Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.

Should X-mas classic "Baby It's Cold Outside" be shamed for glorifying date rape?

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

That lady narrating that video is absolutely obnoxious, as is that guy who comes on around the 0:24 mark and says "That's just how people talked back then. It's a sign of the times". They really expect me to care about stuff like this?

The girl in the song wants to stay anyway, as can be seen by the line "At least I'm going to say I tried". She just wants to put up some last minute resistance to protect her reputation. I'm surprised the feminists aren't just as upset by the idea that it's a negative thing that a woman be seen as slvtty.

The more I think about this, the more it ticks me off.

The person in the song is trying to persuade the other to stay. As they even mentioned in the video, there's no specific gender written in the song.
There's no force involved. There isn't even any direct indication of sex, or physical contact of any kind. But they are trying to say the song is "date rape-y". So now just trying to talk a girl into staying with you is considered criminal? Why don't they just make any sort of interaction between the genders illegal and be done with it?
