I was reading this article about how some fat chick has been "inspiring" other fatties to wear form-fitting clothing like the celebrated "little black dress".

WARNING: VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!

My opinion: I can remember when fat women wore clothing like a mumu; they did it to respect the public space. Now it seems that the Fat Acceptance crowd is taking the cue from the radical femynist cry with "we're fierce, we're fat, and we're in your face".

While I don't buy into the fat acceptance phenomenon, I don't care what fat women wear. I see so many shirtless fat men proudly displaying their massive bellies on beaches, in parks, and other public places and I don't ever hear of anyone suggesting they cover up, so if fat men are allowed to expose the public to their naked rolls of girth, fat women should be able to squeeze into whatever form fitting dress they wish, fair is fair.
